“Good Experience”

Lacks proper internet wifi service which should be available in the Lobby areas. We felt well served with respect to storing our kosher food bags.

“Location and room push us tinking to stay longer than expected.”

Over all it is a great place to stay. Scenery, equipments, restaurants provide all needs to stay without looking to go in town.

“Good location, old hotel”

The Wilderness Beach Hotel has perhaps one of the best locations in all of Wilderness. It sits on a cliff right above a beach and ocean, with a long staircase leading guests down to the beach. If ocean swimming is your thing, though, this isn't the place to be. The strong current in Wilderness makes swimming there virtually impossible. Just standing ankle-deep in the water, we were pelted with large rocks being tossed up from the ocean floor. The hotel itself has key amenities: An on-site restaurant and bar, pool, tennis courts and gift shop. None of that matters, though, if your room isn't up to par. That was the case with Wilderness Beach Hotel. Despite being on a non-smoking floor, our room very clearly smelled of old cigarettes. The bed was very old and uncomfortable, and the air conditioning didn't work. We had a sliding glass door, but no windows to open to cool it down. We complained multiple times about the air conditioning, and about a broken shower head, but nothing was fixed during our three-day stay there. This hotel was undoubtedly the worst place we stayed during three weeks in South Africa.
