Room was large, the bed was really comfortable, the staff only made the bed and replaced towels each day though, they didn't clean up empty bottles etc. Restaurant, bar and cafe were all TOP NOTCH, the hotel facilities were great too.

I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend over the weekend and would definitely stay there again. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The rooms are clean, modern and well-appointed rooms. They also gave us a free upgrade which was lovely!

The hair dryer was missing from the room. Reception was contacted and they were pretty quick to bring one to the room which was great at it was -6º outside and going outside with wet hair didn't appeal to me.

"Cleanliness of the whole hotel was very impressive"
Cleanliness in this hotel was impeccable. Having free wi-fi throughout the hotel, free use of hotel computer and printer was very useful. Also the hotel restaurant which offered both dinner and breakfast was a welcome addition. We had a lovely breakfast and were able to do some work on the hotel computer and print out some important documents and that allowed us to go about enjoying our day in Canberra knowing the chores we had to do, we had been able to take care off in the hotel before leaving.
We would most definetey stay in this hotel again and also recommend it to others.

Capital Hill, overlooking Lake Burley Griffin, is the literal and figurative highpoint of Canberra’s Parliamentary Triangle. The grass-topped Parliament House is located here, as is the National Portrait Gallery, the National Archives, and several embassies and high commission offices. Across the water by bridge are Kings and Commonwealth Parks.
