Lovely Bed and BreakfastPosted Mar 27, 2015
My mom and I stayed here for a couple nights and the place was absolutely lovely. Such cute decor, great room, and the staff was really friendly. We had the coconut pancakes the first morning- very yummy! We would definitely stay there again :)

Beautiful B&B!!!Posted Mar 14, 2015
The room was great. The breakfast was good and the staff was very warm & welcoming. Only thing wrong was the light wasn't working for our private hot tub. Other than that I will definitely be back to try another room.

Lovely, Charming Inn Near the OceanPosted Mar 13, 2015
Pros: The staff were friendly, accommodating and very professional.
Cons: Even though we called ahead and notified them that we would be arriving late in the evening, it took awhile for a staff person to let us in.
Location: Capitola is a pleasant resort community about 70 miles south of San Francisco. Wonderful beach, high cliffs, and lots of restaurants.
The Inn at Depot Hill proved to be an outstanding property. It is charming and the rooms are very well decorated and comfortable. The morning breakfasts were delivered to our room on time and they were both varied and fantastic. The staff are simply the best. We couldn't have had a better experience.

Repeat customerPosted Mar 2, 2015
Pros: Service/Food/It's decor/location
Cons: mattress in room probably needs to be replaced
Location: close to beach. Fun shopping. Great places to eat.
It was a nice place to stay and a wonderful staff. The afternoon treats and night truffles/port were a added pleasure. We stayed in the Rail Road Baron room. Very nice. Nice view to garden/patio. The mattress was uncomfortable. It is probably needing to be replaced.

Nice accommodation. Great locationPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: The location, wine and appetizers, port and truffles.
Cons: Air conditioning or ceiling fans. Upgraded hot tub.
Location: The beach and pier were nice. Walking around the quaint town. Dinner at Shadowbrook was incredible.
I went for a long weekend away with my boyfriend. We stayed in the Paris room which was quaint and the bed was comfortable. When we walked in the room, it was stifling as it was a warm day and the Inn does not have AC. Once we opened the windows and plugged in the fan, the room cooled off after a while. The room opens out to the main communal courtyard and, although there were sheer lace curtains on the window to prevent a direct view into the room, we still felt a lack of privacy in that we had to keep the windows open for air circulation so consequently, we talked in hushed tones. Luckily, the other guests were out and about exploring Capitola and not socializing in the vicinity of our room. There was one other room that opens up to the courtyard (I think it was the Cote d' Azure - not sure). If we returned, we would likely take one of the other rooms with more privacy. The wine and appetizers at 5 - 7 were very good. The port and truffles after 7 were also a nice treat. Breakfast was brought to the room and was also good. The highlight of the trip was dinner at Shadowbrook - an absolute must if you are in the area.Shadowbrook is within walking distance of the Inn. The beach and quaint town is also just a few short blocks away. All-in-all we had a very pleasant weekend.

Charming B and B, close to the Village/beach.Posted Feb 14, 2015
Pros: Location and charm. Comfy bed and nice fireplace.
Cons: The TV could be bigger.
Location: This hotel is steps from the Village with all of the restaurants and shops.
The staff was helpful. They brought us a DVD player to use even though the request didn't show up on the reservation. Breakfast and the private patio were great.
