GreatPosted Aug 4, 2014
Pros: We loved the staff and the great room. Beds were comfy, the room well kept and the breakfast good. Staff were amazing and so helpful!
Cons: The room was very hot and stuffy and at night. We were provided with an additional fan and the second night was fine.Black-out curtains would be nice.
Location: Wonderful little restaurant right next door, short walk to the main street and fun things to explore. Staff organized outings and a great driver.
We found the hotel was friendly and perfectly located. The room comfortably slept 4 and the staff took great care of us We really enjoyed our stay!

Great value!Posted Jun 30, 2014
Pros: Staff were second to none. Very professional- helpful and knowledgeable.
Location: Great location. Tour operators do a great job picking up and dropping off from hotels. Amazing view of balloons in the mornings.
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room was very authentic, clean and comfortable. It opened up into a sun-drenched courtyard area. Great breakfast/coffee area with breathtaking views! Staff were brilliant! Very helpful - gave us lots of advice re tours, sightseeing and excellent restaurant recommendations. Complimentary Rose Valley sunset tour was amazing. I would definitely stay again - Great value!

Great valuePosted Jun 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
The good stuff: hotel was a very good value at ~eight eight bucks / night. Everything was clean, safe, staff was helpful. Downsides (no dealbreakers but things they could improve or fix): - Staff was heavy on upselling tours. Try shopping around a little before booking. - Hotels.com listing says that rooms had a balcony. None of them do. - The location is a bit far up the hill - 15 minutes walking, so if you don't have a car, you may want to consider staying closer to the main drag of town as it's easier to walk from your hotel to dinner, etc. That said, I'd still recommend this place to friends - just keeping in mind the above.

Nice StayPosted Jun 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Decent hotel with friendly staff. Definitely a good value. I stayed in early June for eighty eight bucks a night. I'd recommend staying here with the following reservations: 1) the hotels.com listing is not accurate, none of the rooms have balconies (as the hotel staff told me... "how could we have balconies, our rooms are in caves"). The rooms also don't have a safe and despite being soundproofed, it was still pretty noisy. 2) The staff was pretty heavy on upselling tour options (to which they add their own surcharge). Since I rented a car at Kayseri, I ended up foregoing the tours. While there, tours can be a good option, but I'd call around for prices.

Lose yourself in Cappadocia!Posted Jun 18, 2014 on Hotels.com
Goreme is a fascinating centre in an incredible part of Turkey. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. Divan Cave House was everything we could have asked for; every comfort, excellent breakfasts and friendly staff - without being over-pretentious. One word of warning! Goreme is literally a maze of tiny back-streets and cul-de-sacs! It will probably take you 3 hours to find the hotel, and even when you have found it you'll probably lose it again. However, as this also applies to every other place in Goreme, you might as well get used to it.

awesome!!!Posted Jun 16, 2014 on Hotels.com
Had an awesome time because of the people running this hotel. They made our family's trip very enjoyable. They made sure we were picked up and dropped at airport and tours. Breakfast was good. Our room was beautiful and comfortable for being a cave. We would return.

Loved everything about this hotel, especially its perfect location in the stunning town of Goreme. Hanife and Ali helped me with everything I needed during my stay from booking a rental car to arranging airport transfers. Overall, an excellent stay and highly recommended.

2 nights stay in a double roomPosted Jun 16, 2014
This is a very good value for money hotel. The staff is very cordial. The bed was very very comfortable and bathrooms squeaky clean, a perfect refuge after a long day of hiking and sight seeing. Do not miss the complimentary guided tour to Rose Valley that the hotel offers. Ali's a great guide and has a good knowledge of some of the nicest caves in the Rose Valley.
