Nice hotelPosted Oct 12, 2011
We thought that we were getting a cave room but it was a standard (our mistake), still we enjoyed staying there. The location was great; staff very nice and breakfast was good.

The best and most convienet hotel in the area. Faruk, the owner personally took us to trail head amPosted Nov 12, 2010
We needed help accomplishing all the activities in Cappadocia and Faruk, the owner made all arrangements and we were able to do the hiking, horseback riding, and balloon riding on our schedule and not on a tour companies time. Faruk became like a brother as he would even drive us to nearby towns to visit dinner shows and specialty restaurants. He did not expect any commission or payment for this service, but we covered his gas etc. The staff was friendly and as helpful as Faruk. Breakfasts were wonderful overlooking the local mosque and had very healthy local food.

The hotel is located just one block from Kapadokyia Balloons. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice, with gozleme and homemade jam and butter.

Beautiful hotel with great staffPosted Aug 18, 2010
We stayed three nights here. Goreme itself is very pretty with all the fairy chimneys, and at Kismet Cave, as with many other hotels there, the rooms are hewn from the rocks. This renders them lovely cool havens from the heat (but fire places for the winter), and all attractively but simply furnished. There is a terrace upstairs where breakfast is also served. It is relaxed and friendly, a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Goreme. The greatest plus point though is the staff. Faruk and co were always friendly yet unobtrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. For me this included the after care when I stupidly left several favourite items of clothing in the wardrobe. We didn't have enough time left in Turkey from them to be posted to us, nor time to go back for them. I rang Faruk, he asked me to email where we'd be staying for the next few days, and then later he rang me back having sorted it all. My dresses arrived the next day on a coach. A little thing maybe, but it meant a lot to me and Faruk understood that and fixed it all with no fuss. This is typical.

Goreme's Best Little HotelPosted May 16, 2010
My wife Patrice and I stayed at this cozy little hotel in Goreme the first week of May 2010.The hotel is quaint and the service is very personal. I wouldn't stay in any other place except for this one in Goreme because of the level of service and attentiveness of the staff. Everyone is helpful.. from the owner Farouk who I call Mr. Bryner because of his likeness to Yul Bryner to Shukru, Mehmet and Fahma. Farouk is very charming and has a way to make you feel at ease immediately. You are treated like family here. We had a lot of fun staying here and if we come back to Cappadocia we know where we are staying.. it is at Kismet Cave House. Cappadocia is a magical place with very hospitable people.

Kismet Cave Hotel is Amazing.Posted Jul 1, 2009
We stayed at the Kismet Cave Hotel for 2 days of our honeymoon. It is a great place to stay because of location (less than five min walk to downtown goreme) and the execellent accommodations. But, most of all, Furuk (who owns the hotel) was invaluable. He took the time to help us arrange a balloon ride and a tour of cappadoccia. Because the tour didn't cover everything we wanted to see, he took us on a private tour before he drove us to the airport. He was amazing. We would definately recommend the Kismet Cave Hotel to anyone visiting cappadoccia. Have fun and good luck!
