“Best view in Capri”

Great experience, the driver picked us up at the port when our ship landed. Upon checking in we were upgraded to the amazing ocean view room with patio. Great service, fantastic restaurant even if it poured for the three days we were there! STRONGLY recommend the best view in capri.

“Expensive, but well worth it”

When we booked this hotel we wondered if it was worth the hefty price tag. After staying there the conclusion is an uneqivocal yes. Incredible views, beautiful grounds and very personable staff. Do take the hotel recommended tour of the island by boat. We definitely plan to go back.

“A magic place”

An extraordinary hotel with the best views on the island. We stayed for a week and everything was so high quality and beautiful that we were sorry to leave. The staff was professional, very helpful and friendly.The free hotel shuttle picks you up and drops you off at the harbor whenever you need. We booked a garden-view room which was comfortable, roomy and quiet but after 2 days the hotel management offered to upgrade us at no extra cost to a sea-view room just because they had availability.We talked to other hotel guests and they got upgraded, too and everybody was surprised by the generous offer. The hotel owner organizes cocktail soiree every week to meet and talk to his guests. He is genuinely interested in your opinion, your travel plans and stories from your home. If you meet him ask him about his sailing experience (you will be in for a treat). Again, do not miss Capri and this hotel. Avoid crowds in summer, go end of September or October like us, the weather is still warm and sunny. We will definitely be back at Caesar Augustus, next time with kids in tow. The hotel has this amazing infinity pool with views of Naples and the Sorrento peninsula. Thinking about that and I am ready to pack the suitcase again.

“amazing honeymoon”

This hotel was by far more than expected. Excellent service is all that can be said, they were able to book us everything we could every want for our honeymoon at quite reasonable rates from a private boat tour around the island to a tour of Pompeii, Mt Vesuvius and Herculaneum by private car. Staff were always very polite and will to help and with our early departure even packed us a breakfast to take with us on the ferry. I would recommend this hotel and wish I can go back! Nice location too, not near the crowded port. Room was cleaned twice daily too! I would recomend the seaview rooms, beautiful at night! Mostly an adult hotel, didnt see any kids - many other honeymooners though.

Best hotel I have ever stayed in (and there are many). Location superb with best views ever, staff and owner really make one feel that they want you to enjoy staying there. Pool stunning. Proximity to Annacapri a big plus.

One of the most beautiful locations for a hotel you could imagine - the gardens and pool area are lovely. The room was spacious with a very large terrace and had a fabulous view. The staff could not have been more friendly or helpful and we had a fantastic time. Will definitely be back

“Outstanding in all ways”

We had just two nights in Capri, so we wanted to be in a top-notch hotel. And Caesar Augustus was just that. We had a garden view room, but it seemed more like a villa than a room and we could still see the Naples Bay from our room. The views from the pool and terraces were simply outstanding, and the sunsets were breathtaking. The infinity pool was very inviting, but surprisingly chilly for mid-September. The hotel had a very expansive breakfast buffet included, but dinner at the restaurant, although very good was expensive. The location of the hotel in Anacapri gave it the wonderful views, but it also was outside the busy Capri port town. Being outside the main shopping and dining area of Capri could be a negative for some, but it was a positive for us. Definitely call ahead to have the hotel shuttle pick you up from the port when you arrive. It's free and will save you a 20-25 euro cab fare. Local buses are another option as they run from the main Capri town to the hotel regularly for a couple euros. Be sure to explore the town of Anacapri a short walk from the hotel to get a good Capresian experience. The hotel will purchase your ferry tickets to leave the island if desired and charge it to your room, so that is convenient. This is a resort that needs to be enjoyed, so if you want a hotel to be a base for other activities, then you should stay somewhere else.
