“Recommended”

Excellent location, wonderful installations, oustanding service. The only negative comment is about room service. It takes 45 minutes for thm to deliver it, and the food is not always hot.

“Excellent service and staff”

The staff were all extremely helpful, although their recomendations were a little to "white-bread" for us (they just wanted to keep us safe). When our return flight was cancelled (and we were staring at an additional 4 day stay) they immediately extended our room reservation, then just as quickly cancelled our extension when we purchased a flight on another airline. (The travel agency in the same building was also very helpful with this problem).

“would definitely book again”

For someone only staying a couple days in Caracas they made it extremely easy, taking care of everything from transportation, what to do to take advantage of an afternoon off from business, the best place to get arepas, to help tracking down a fedex packages. A fairly new hotel so everything has that just broken-in look, the service is fantastic, the location is ideal; especially for business, hotel can not legally exchange dollars but ATM is around the corner, every room has included high speed internet and the business center is fantastically staffed.

“Really nice people---excellent food--excellent service-Great place!!”

I really didn't expect such a nice beautiful hotel in Caracas!! It is really FIRST CLASS!! The people are sooooo nice and friendly - everyone!! Our room was;and stayed super clean and nice and the bed was TOO comfortable!! Room service was excellent----the breakfast buffet in the dining room was excellent and lunches and all food was great! We were visiting for my son's wedding(he was marrying a Venezuelan girl). My daughter and I had our hair done in the Mariott and the lady also did my makeup. Everything was excellent.(Massage chairs in the shampoo room!) The biggest complaint I have is the TRAFFIC!!!! It is beyond awful!! I spent most of my money on taxis because I do not have a death wish!! Do not think you can drive there!! EEEKKK! OH! one more complaint---the money is so difficult----someone told us they are going to change it in '07. If your'e going - figure out the money before you go!! That would have helped us a lot!! There's so many 0000000000's!!Overall we loved everything!! Linda S

“JW Standards, always at the top”

As always, friendly service, constant attention. Only complaint would be few taxis at the hotel.

“If you have to spend the night in Caracas, this is the place”

We (my wife and I) had to stayover in Caracas for a flight the next morning. Thankfully the new bridge into town was open and you don't have to go through the hills any more. This means that it is possible to stay in Caracas itself since it is not possible to book any hotels in the neighboorhood of the airport (they never have a room and offer terrible service). Taxi drive (be carefull to only take an official taxi, which from the airport is almost always a black Explorer type SUV and costs roughly US$ 100,- one way) is now +/- 30 minutes. The hotel is excellent and recomended if you have no choice but to stay over in Caracas.

“One of the best”

The hotel is one of the best in Caracas but its quality is way below any European, Canadian or U.S. premier hotel. Hotels in Caracas are extremely expensive compared with what you actually get for the money. Well trained staff but very expensive rooms and food.

“A Great Place to Be in Caracas”

Staying at the Marriott in Caracas was a good experience. All of the hotel staff were very helpful and the facilities are numerous. Unfortunately the political situacion and the safety in the streets is not very conductive to return, however, the people outside the hotel are very nice and helpful in advicing you on where to go and what to do. Oh boy! everything is expensive.
