“A Super Stay”

A great room at a decent price. Very clean and very friendly staff. Was even able to check-out at a later, convenient time at no charge.

“A good, clean bargain”

I was pleased to find a comfortable lazy boy type chair in my room which was clean and comfortable. The place was quiet, unusually so, considering there were many other guests. I had stayed there before with my wife a few years ago, and it was noisier then. This time, by myself, it was a good choice for me. Nothing really fancy, but more than adequate. I have no complaints at all. Staff were friendly, too.

We stayed last year in a hotel down the street but this was better and will stay here next year.

“Great hotel for my campus visit”

The room was super clean and there was a mini fridge, microwave, recliner and a reading lamp by the recliner. It was great.

“Affordable basic hotel”

The hotel does not have an elevator, and some of the furniture in the room wasn't in the best condition, but the room was clean, the A/C worked great and there were plenty of clean towels. Room had a mini-fridge (on the floor - no table) and a microwave (on top of the mini-fridge), also a coffee maker. (Would not be a good choice for anyone with disabilities.) There's only one ice machine and one vending machine. However it was quiet, clean, centrally located and the staff was excellent - very friendly. A good affordable choice, if no frills.

“Pretty good place to stay”

The rooms were clean. The hotel is pet friendly. We had problems with our hotel key. Did not get a new key for a couple of hours. This was an inconvenience, but it all worked out in the end. We would stay here again.

“Great stay at a good value!”

Very nice room. Exceptionally pleasant staff that was more than helpful. Location is perfect to get to SIU(3 miles). My only complaint is the pillows. Great pillows for kids not adults. Overall, an excellent value. great location in shopping district. Thanks Jared! Great staff. Housekeeping is very thorough and pleasant.

“Good price, good service, and a nice clean room.”

Overall a very nice place to stay. The pillows on our bed were a bit "flat" - that is, not very fluffy... But other than that, everything was great! The room was clean, the staff was very friendly, and they even take pets with NO pet fee which was a nice touch. The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Carbondale but far enough away that you don't get too much of the night-time student traffic coming to and from the bars. I would definitely stay here again.

“Comfortable Hotel”

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful:) Room was clean and comfortable. Only small complaint is the lighting in the bathroom - only one light above sink, so not much lighting in the shower.
