Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, close to town.
Cons: Don't make guests take out their trash.
Location: Not walking distance to town but definitely biking distance. 4 mins to train station on the bike.
Stayed here to see stage 16 of the Tour de France 2014. Brought our bikes, which made this a perfect place to stay as we just rode the 4 mins into town. Lots of official TDF radio and camera cars and bikes stayed the night here too.

Bare bones, sufficient

Posted Jul 14, 2014
Pros: It was available and less expensive than hotels closer in.
Cons: HOT WATER!
Location: Like the town and the old city.
This hotel is out of the main area of Carcassonne, too far to walk to the Medieval City. Even though I had input the age of my son as 14 on expedia when making the reservation, the hotel staff did not consider him to be a child. I found out why when we got to our room and the only sleeping spot for him was a chair that pulled out into a bed (not made up). We had no hot water in our room, so they told us we could shower in another room down the hall. Pretty inconvenient! Then that shower stall allowed water to pour out onto the floor of the bathroom and soaked the carpet of the bedroom. We had to pay extra for wifi in the room, which was OK, except they gave us a box with the router/modem to hook up. A bit of a pain!

Ideal location and easy to find....

Cons: The beds are way too hard....
The hotel is worth the money and was perfect for our weekend away.. The room was spacious and worth the money. The beds, well they are as other people describe, very hard and uncomfortable but I still managed to get a good nights sleep..

Very helpful! Great room!

We booked for one night for 2 adults and 2 children and got at 1 bedroomed apartment which was a really good size! Lots of useful stuff in the apartment. Beds were good, sofa bed in the lounge and a double bed in the bedroom. Could have done with more pillows though, and no-one around to ask by the time we arrived. As we checked in late, and reception is closed, they have a system of texting and emailing the access code for the gate/door and then a safe code to get your room key. We didn't realise about the safe code, but my husband rang the helpline number and they told him what to do. After we left we realised my daughter had left her favourite soft toy and she was very upset. The hotel reception have been extremely helpful, not least as they are multi lingual, have found the toy and are going to send in the post! Very happy! Decent location, took us about 20 mins to walk to the train station in the centre. Would only take a couple of minutes to drive to anywhere in Carcassonne.

Late Check-in = Can't Check-in?

Posted Jul 29, 2013 on Hotels.com
We arrived hotel 11:30pm. The receiption closed. Two telephone number provided but the toll-free number not work. The pay number worked but the first operator we tried gave us wrong safe box number to get the key! Luckily we try the pay number again around 12:30am (1 hour.....) and final the second operator gave us the correct number. I think the hotel can try send email to us in advance (and better get our email confirm receive) if safe-box password is required for check-in. It is not wise to close the receiption, just giving a pay number and asking someone non-professional take care the problem.

Great value for money

A really modern, well appointed appart hotel. The studio room was spacious, the pull down bed perfectly comfortable and the shower room and kitchenette were excellent. Breakfast was a little pricey in comparison, but there is a great boulangerie artisanale directly opposite that does great croissants and pain au chocolat. And at this price to get a very nice swimming pool is exceptional.

Not bad location but not comfy pillows and bed :)

it is not so difficult to find the hotel from airport but make sure you have accurate map and directions. Dont rely on google map:). They took city tax and car park charge.I thought car park was free by the time of booking. You can walk to town center or old town but it will take 25 min at least. Driving would be ideal and then there are plenty public car parking. Apart hotel, dont forget your teas bags :) we completely forgot about it there was none in the room. It was good for the money 2 nights 2 people stay. If you wish to stay in a stylish hotel dont stay there. It may be dull for you. But cheaper comparison to other hotels and clean. There was no English channel on telly. It is ok for 2 nights. I d rate as 3.5/5 !

good value but could be improved

Posted May 17, 2013
Good value for money, although small things could have made a difference, room could have been a bit cleaner and the rooms need a kettle and there was no shower gel. Our window did not open which was a bit claustrophobic. Connecting to the internet in our room was made far to complicated when it could have been easy. Reasonable value for money but could be improved with a little effort and small expense.

Great for short break

Pros: Great price and value for money
Cons: Tiny coffee cups and sofa bed but still comfortable enough. Would have liked more public transport information available.
Location: Uphill walk - only 12 minutes from station but a good half hour to Cite
Excellent value for money. Quiet - excellent bakers, butcher and tobacconist close by.
