Design-style hotel but pricey for what you getPosted Aug 31, 2013
Location: Carcasonne old city is at the end of the road.
We stayed for one night. The hotel is brilliantly located and has a private car park. It is also asthetically attractive, very clean, and comfortable. On the downside, I personally felt that it was rather expensive for a three star hotel. For example, the breakfast was not included and cost €12 per person. I personally felt this was excessive when, for instance, you can have a very nice three course meal in the centre of the old city for €15. The pool is also very small. Additionally, the shower in our room, although spotlessly clean, was rather tired in places (broken tiles, worn-out grouting) and the air-con unit was rather loud!

Wonderful location!Posted Jul 22, 2013
Cons: Hotel reception closes at night.
Location: Roght at the foot of the old medieval city! Perfect!
Definitely a great hotel to stay. Just outside the walls of Carcassone. on the minus side, miniature pool and office is closed at night, but otherwise a great find, big rooms, independant A/C in each room.

Very comfortable hotel close to the old city. There is no lift. The pool was a nice place to cool off, but my favorite part was the delicious breakfast. It was expensive, but worth every penny. Breads, cheese and ham were wonderful and the staff was gracious.

excellent hotelPosted Jul 6, 2013 on Hotels.com
This is an excellent hotel in a prime position to the castle. Staff were very helpful and cleanliness of the room was also excellent. We didnt try the breakfast but it looked good and plentiful.

Good location, small roomPosted Jun 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was small with no a/c or fan. The pool furniture was quite uncomfortable. Location close to historic old city and parking was free 2 blocks away.

Walking Distance to Walled CityPosted Nov 5, 2012
Pros: Location to Castle
Cons: Red and closed in
Location: location good for visiting sites.
Hotel was in walking distance to the walled city and it was very easy to go there to eat meals and wander. There was a grocery store a couple miles up the road for staples. The parking lot is right across the street and secure but does charge a daily fee. The room was small, but not tiny. The decor was unique...very modern, but also very RED. The walls were red and the bedding and curtains were red/black and white, and the bathroom was all red. This led to the room feeling more closed in. There was a nice window to open, however it opened right at a stairwell that people climbed to go to another floor so they could look right in. The rooms were a maize to find, but once you found yours it was okay. There was a nice pool area with sitting so that you could go outside and sit and not be stuck in the room. WIFI worked good. The staff was okay, not overly welcoming.

Good location, within easy walking distance of the old city. Hotel has a small outdoor swimming pool, with jacuzzi-style airjets at one end. Our room was a bit small but well-organised, making use of all the space, and attractively decorated in a modern style.
