“Regular Visitor”

We are in the process of having a house built in the Carcassonne area and stay at this hotel every 6 weeks approx. On every occasion we have been treated with the utmost courtesy and found the rooms and facilities excellent. There is ample car parking and the 'Old Cite' is only 5 minutes walk away.

“Great Location”

We stayed at the Espace for a long weekend in June 2007. It's in a perfect location within easy walking distance of the walled city. The room was pretty basic and quite small (with ingenious use of space in the bathroom!) but it was clean , comfortable and quiet. What more can you ask?

“Great Location to Carcassonne Castle”

The hotel was in walking distance to the Carcassonne Castle. The breakfast buffet was good. The hotel service was good except at check-out since the clerk did not speak English. In booking our hotels, they stated that hotels with three stars and above always had staff who could speak other languages such as English and Spanish. Check-out was challenging without staff who could speak English or understand English. We would recommend that this hotel have staff available at all times to speak English. The rooms were clean but very small. We would recommend this hotel to others.

Perfect hotel for visiting the castle only 3 mins walk away, good parking, rooms small but ok but shower was usually cold!!!!!

“Historic and cultural Carcassone”

Basic value for money hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Good location very close to the medieval city.
