2 bed apartment perfect for a family stay!Posted Jul 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
Lovely modern apartment on two levels with great kitchen/living room. (Owner very kindly accommodated an early check-in because of flight times by moving us to a different apartment just up the road). Two bedrooms meant no children getting up early and bouncing about wakening tired parents. 10-15 minute walk into the city centre. Would definitely go back.

Great for a group stayPosted May 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
This is an excellent place to stay for a group of people looking for a place to stay after a night out or to explore Cardiff. The communal spaces are excellent and the kitchen is really well equipped. The beds were comfy and the owner was really friendly. Parking in an issue, but we parked reasonably close. Taxi from the city center was about £6-7 pounds.

Area good, flat appallingPosted Dec 7, 2012 on Hotels.com
We were surprised to find that the flat was at a different address to our booking information. However this was still in the same general vicinity and a good area. The flat was extremely grotty. The kitchen was unclean, with cutlery and crockery still dirty from previous tenants. We had to wash everything prior to use. The kitchen cupboards were full of haphazard sets of saucepans etc, appearing more like a students collection of hand me downs. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and grotty, though other beds reasonable. Pillows were limited and very thin. The second bedroom's wardrobe had clutter such as old printers and clothes. Carpet felt unclean underfoot and some floorboards were so creaky and loose that we wondered if we would go through the floor. Overall this place made us feel very uncomfortable and we were pleased to leave.
Great location - great servicePosted Dec 5, 2012 on Hotels.com
Flat 5 is a collection of apartments dotted around Cardiff, but the web-site doesn't make it clear which photos belong to which. That said, we had exceptional service from Arun (the manager) who ensured we were accommodated in the best available apartment, in a good area and only a 20 minute walk to the city centre or the Millennium Stadium. The flat was clean and well stocked with blankets, crockery etc, and even tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk! We'll be re-booking with Flat 5 for our next visit.

Landlord was v nice met us with the keys and gave us some coffee and milk . The thing that were not really nice where all the hair around the back of the toilet ,the freezer was full to the brim with ice and the brush and sponge to wash the dishes with put more dirt on the plates than took off.
