Well positioned for access to the M4Posted Apr 22, 2014
Pros: We were there for the Easter Weekend and the hotel had all that was required
When we arrived we were greeted by a friendly member of staff, all staff we had contact with were friendly and went the extra mile.

Perfect place to visit CardiffPosted Apr 19, 2014
Very pleasant clean hotel. Room immaculate and provided hair dryer and iron, tea and coffee. Breakfast good and plenty of it. Free WiFi and parking made it a very good value stay. Took about half an hour to get to Cardiff. Newport appears not to have been built yet and is very disappointing but there is a cinema/restaurant complex about 10 minutes drive from the hotel.

Nice, reasonably priced hotel near to road links.Posted Apr 14, 2014
Impressed with the staff who were lovely with the children and a good breakfast. Bathroom was well resourced. It was a sofa bed for the kids which was rather uncomfortable, main bed was fine. would visit again.

Good venue for 6 Nations matchesPosted Feb 23, 2014
The staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough to help. Breakfast limited in choice and a bit on the basic / cheap side.

4 star for 3 star pricezPosted Feb 20, 2014
Excellent value for money. Hotel still seems vey new. Rooms lovely very nicely furnished. Tidy gym on the first floor. Food choice not massive but was well presnted and good quality. Breakfast good and nice touch that you can take your coffee awsy with you. Ideal for business visitors but also well located for leisure. A cut above other 3 star hotels

The perfect hotel.Posted Feb 17, 2014
I've been to this hotel three times in the last year. The first time I went, I was shocked at how good the hotel was for the price! The staff were excellent, while being kind and courteous from 6AM to 2AM! They provide room service free of charge, wake up calls, general services, and all with a smile! They serve free breakfast from 6AM to 10:30AM, with everything you could want, fruit, cereal, juice, coffee, eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, beans, jams, marmelades, honey, chocolate spread, sausages.. You name it, they have it! And it's all you can eat, good quality food! The rooms are lovely, cleaned daily, has free WiFi, access to a gym, free view on LCD TV'S, free soap, body wash, moisturiser, hand soap, shampoo and conditioner. Fresh towels daily, a large shower, and comfy bed. There is a petrol station, shop, and service station a 30 second walk from the hotel, as well as a restaurant (Although they have a restaurant in the hotel too, at below hotel prices) They also have a library in the hotel, which is a nice touch. Each room is also supplied with a kettle, and milks, coffee, tea, green tea. Sugar, and sweeteners. All in all, I've never been to another hotel as nice as this one. And doubt I ever will! I've been three times total due to how much I like the hotel, and I don't tend to revisit places! The rooms are also cheap (As little as £49 for two people!). All in all, the hotel is perfect, and I will use it for the rest of my life.

NIce new hotel close to M4Posted Feb 7, 2014
Pros: It's new and everything is still shiny and in working order
Cons: The in room heating the room was often too cool.
Location: Good location just off the M4 and very handy for Newport and Crdiff
Hotel is quite new and so in very good condition. It is located close to M4 and on a business park, not very scenic but I was working so not too worried about this. Rooms are a decent size and clean and comfortable but I found the heating hard to work properly and my room was often too cool. The bar area is lacking a bit in atmosphere as most hotels in this bracket seems to be and the food offering is fairly limited, although the included buffet breakfast is not so bad. I would stay here again and think it is reasonably good value.

Exceeded Charles Dickins ExpectationsPosted Jan 14, 2014
Pros: Easy for access to Caldicot
Cons: It would be good if the doors didn't make a clonk when being closed, but I guess I should have got up earlier & done some of the clonking.
Location: WE were at a family doo, but went to watch the Dragons lose againast Bath, not a good result
It was just needed as somewhere to stay, but it exceded both our expectations. Hard to lounge & watch the fottie on the teles but we wasn't there for that.
