Hear the Sounds of the Rain Forest

Posted Feb 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Playa Chiquita Lodge is in the middle of a rain forest close to the ocean. You can hear the Howler Monkeys in the morning, see Toucans, Humming Birds, Parrots and other tropical sounds while relaxing in a chair or roaming in the forest. The location is just a few miles from the Beach Town of Puerta Viejo, with plenty of beaches to play on and restaurants to please any tastes. Rooms are spacious and most have two queen beds. Water can be a bit of a problem, with only cold water to shower. Staff was very nice and helpful.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The smell.
Location: Puerto Viejo was great.
The place was dirty with terrible smelling dogs running around in the kitchen and lobby. Don't clean rooms at all while your there and you have to ask for toilet paper. Don't empty trash. Beds have mosqito nets and do not seem clean at all.
