This was our first trip to this area. Sawtelle Resort was a very cute rustic place to stay. The whole resort was nice and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, very clean and spacious. Everything was new or well taken care of. Nothing looked rundown or old at all. Would nightly recommend this place!

We stayed here to visit Yellowstone and was about a 25 minute drive to the West Entrance. It was nice to be away from the "crowd". Very clean and rooms were very nice.

Everything was good except the handicap shower water did not stay in the shower it ran two feet distance out from shower which was annoying as we had to line several bath towels on the floor to contain it. I spent time getting it set with rolled towels etc and then the maid picked them all up and I had to do it all over for the second night.

Comfortable and Clean
Quiet, clean, and comfortable. I have no complaints, but I can’t think of anything outstanding either. The included breakfast was a nice bonus. There was plenty of seating and a nice array of food and beverages. We didn't take advantage of the pool or workout facilities. I will stay here in the future.

Adorable property. Very uninhabited in mid September but it’s a great facility. Indoor pool with volleyball net and hot tub. On site restaurant (closed Tues and Wed). We were happy to use the coin laundry on our floor. Large rooms. Free breakfast. Happy!

Would highly recommend!
Nice large room with a great bed & pillows. Nice quiet location away from the noise of West Yellowstone. Good breakfast too.

Loved the theme of this lodge, Montana style and decor. The room was large which was a surprise. Overall a very nice place to stay. My only suggestion would be to have more “ healthy” choices for breakfast. Although the fact that breakfast was free was a bonus!!

I have stayed at a number of resorts and this one, by far, is the nicest place I have stayed. The staff took good care of us and even treated us like family and bent over backwards to take care of our needs. The only thing that I can think of that woud help improve the experience would be to purchase a 2nd pan cake machine or an alternate waffle machine. The pancakes were delicious but with only 1 machine, sometimes the breakfast wait was a bit lengthy. This would be my only comment.
