Carlisle Bay Vacations
Many of Antigua and Barbuda’s most popular attractions are within easy driving distance of Carlisle Bay, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. Two of the most interesting places to see are the fabulous Carlisle Beach and the fantastic Doigs Beach. If you have time, don’t miss Mount Obama and the Pigeon's Point Beach.
When it’s time to take a break from the noisy streets of Antigua and Barbuda, visit the nearby outdoor areas. Feel the breeze through your hair at one of the area’s beaches, for example the Valley Church Beach in Bolans, Galleon Beach in English Harbour and Darkwood Beach.
To really get a feel for the area, stop at the nearby local attractions such as the Pillars of Hercules in English Harbour. These are much-loved by travellers from all over the world. Antigua and Barbuda features some evocative reminders of the past; begin your local history tour at Fort Berkeley in English Harbour.
Take a break from the tourist trail and indulge in a game of golf at the Jolly Harbour Golf Club in Johnsons Point.
