Older property - under new name (Home Stay Inn), No signage for Econo Lodge. Called from the Parking lot to make sure I was in the right place

The property was very sparse- new management- room was clean but no floor mat to wipe your feet and all the dust came in in your shoes. Then the souls of my feet were BLACK!! The phone didn’t work, when I told the front desk, it was still not working the next night we stayed there. The breakfast was dismal- no cold water available to put into a thermos! I had to walk to the front desk (remember no phone working in room) for the WiFi password, the room smelled strongly of smoke and dust. The best part about the room is the water pressure in the shower was incredible!! Never staying there again!!

No swimming pool or whirlpool sauna as stated in website. That was false Phone in room did not work Vanity light did not turn on

Greetings! Thank you so much for your feedback. We removed our pool almost 2 years ago and never had a sauna. I have checked our website and don't see any mention of pool or sauna. I will be sure to have maintenance check on the vanity lighting to ensure it's operational. Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for staying with us.

The breakfast was the best thing about this property. The room was small and there was a microwave right next to the bathroom. Our room could have been cleaned better. There's a big area where the pool use to be (cemented over now, where my kids enjoyed playing outside but there were no chairs or tables out there. It would have been a good spot to hangout. Maybe they can get some.Maybe

Only reason for four stars overall instead of five is due to hot water issue at the time of stay. Owners were exceptional and the free breakfast was too!
