“Great Stay in Carlsbad!”

Beyond the room and hotel being clean the staff gave excellent recommendation for nearby eating establishments. All in all a great place to stay.

“Great hotel!!”

We had a great stay at the Fairfield in Carlsbad. We've stayed there twice now. The rooms were immaculate and the staff friendly. Would definitely stay there again.

“Brand New”

Very nice decor. The bed was very comfortable with a choice of down pillows or synthetic material. However the room was very small. When we checked in we were given a room on the first floor, when I requested a room on a higher floor I was advised that they were fully booked. We ended up with a view of the parking lot. I would recommend that a higher floor is requested thru Expedia. The breakfast that was included was not the greatest. It consisted of cereal, toast, bagels and cold hard boiled eggs.

“Hotel right next to loud train track!”

Hotel was in good shape because it is a new one. Pool was out of order both days of our stay. Toilet was dirty! Tub had little curly hairs in it! Nothing fancy enough to make up for high price. Train track right across street, woke up at 5:30 am to loud bursts of train horn!
