“Legacy Inn was a nice place to stay”

We were looking for a nice hotel for 4 adults and 2 small children. It didn't have to be real fancy, but friendly, clean and resasonable in cost. The Legacy Inn met those requirements. I was not familar with the name, but it had the best ratings of the area that I found on the web. It was a great location right across from the local K Mart. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. When we came in from Carlsbad Caverns they had a tray of chocolate chip cookies and cartons of milk for those returning from there sightseeing trips. All and all it was a nice stay, we felt safe and were very comfortable for our 2 day stay.

“Artesia - Fairly close to Carslbad Caverns”

We stayed there because we were visiting Carlsbad Caverns, Artesia is a fairly long drive from there especially at night after watching the bats fly out of the cave. This hotel was everything we needed, clean, comforatble, and quiet. No complaints, the staff was very accomodating and the breakfast was really good.

“Overnight stay in Artesia, New Mexico”

There was a rather large centipede crawling around the front entrance to the hotel. Otherwise, the stay was nice. The morning meal was very good. The dining room could have had more chairs.

“A little high priced, would stay there again.”

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Desk staff was friendly. Breakfast was nice. A little high priced. Paid same as higher quality hotels with less amenities, but would stay there again.

“Clean your own room”

It is a nice place, but out of my week stay my room was not cleaned 3 days. After the first time, I made a complaint to the front desk. They said they would take care of it, but it happened 2 more days - no clean towels and beds not made. There was not a sign on the door so there was no reason not to make up the room. Also the sheets were not change the entire stay. At the price we should have received better service.
