“Just so so”

Door to the room stuck made a very loud noise when opening and closing. Decent Breakfast.

“Avoid”

No elevator. TV remote control barely works. Hotel looks and feels old. Breakfast is awful. Staff is friendly.

“Very disappointed”

The review concerning location was mis-leading - said it was minutes away from Carlsbad Caverns. In fact, more like 45-60min away. The area was having a lot of construction - roads were unpleasant. Restaurant that was recommended (My Daddy's BBQ) was a shack that was closed down. Was told the 1st nite that the pool was being cleaned and would be open the next day. The pool was closed our entire stay - stated they were waiting for a part from maintenance. Did not get the breakfasts - closed at 9a instead of the typical 10a. Had trouble with my room key thru out the stay.

“STOP Don't bother with this one.”

We were told rooms were remodeled, well the lobby was! the bathtub was peeling, bathroom was filthy. This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. We should have gone back to the Best Western Stevenson --much better for the price.

“Smelled like paint thinner”

The look of the hotel from the outside was fine but the inside was terrible. The room was outdated but worst of all was the smell! I don't know what was going on but the smell in the room was like paint thinner. The bathroom smelled even worse. I had a headache in about five minutes so we left.

“Nothing worked”

vending machines not working hot tub did not work room had chemical smell

“Not One Good Thing.”

Pool not working. No elevator. Non-smoking room that reaked of smoke. Had to walk through cloud of smoke ,to get into hotel, from chain smoking employees. You don't have to wear a uniform, but please don't look like you just rolled out of bed.
