“Home away from home”

I always stay at the Vandalia Ramada Inn when I visit the surrounding small towns. It is my "Home away from Home". It is very clean and comfortable. The location gives me access to restaurants, shopping and routes of travel. .

We were late for our arrival and we had no problems at all with check-in. The hotel staff were always very helpful. Our room was clean, everything worked properly. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Breakfast was great! Our dogs were treated as if they were part of our family. I will always stay at this Ramada when visiting family in Illinois. Thanks for the very restful sleep. This hotel was also very quiet. Thanks a bunch!

“Good small town hotel”

I had read the reviews and knew to not expect breakfast and had choices nearby. The hotel was clean, updated, and met my needs.

“Pretty good, but could improve...”

This hotel was pretty nice and I got a really good rate by booking on expedia.com, but the breakfast...not so good. The first day was barely acceptable, the second day was so bad that I didn't even bother to go back the third morning, but since there was a microwave and fridge in the room I was able to fend for myself ok...pretty disappointing.

“An average Motel at a Bargain Price”

2 stories with no elevator if you have mobility issues make sure you request ground floor. We travel with a service dog (mobility & seizure response). She was well received. Very Basic motel, clean, a good buy for the price. Don't plan on the free breakfast - very minimal and not very good.
