“I will go there again and again”
This place was very convivient to where we wanted to see and have fun. the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful .The place was very clean which i thought it is brand new. The breakfast was always refreshed by staff .Nice location.I do recommend this place to other people and let them judge themselves.
“Visiting the grandkids & pet friendly”
Easily accessible area right off highway, yet pretty quiet - near large recreational lake and beautiful park area with several playgrounds. Wal-Mart within 1/2 block - several restaurants & fast food locations nearby. Surprisingly comfortable beds - pet-friendly hotel - small outdoor swimming pool. Complimentary breakfast is very 'light' - OJ is watered down, but McD's just across the street. Decent stay for the $$ spent.
“NICE PLACE TO SAY (probably not EXTENDED vacation)”
Able to get a room on an event-packed weekend in town. Easy to hear other people making noise in adjacent rooms -- but serves the purpose of a nice place to sleep & clean up without a lot of fanfare and expense. Recommend a restaurant in town in an old house called "COVERED IN CHOCOLATE" as it has superb breakfast deals. Approximately 10th & Fairfax on the East side of the street.
“The Great Bark Out”
The hotel was clean and comfortable enough. Rooms on the small side. There was never anyone at the desk to greet customers, they were out of site in an office next to the reception area. On the 4th night, I went to my room and heard a large dog in the next room barking continually. It was evident that the owners were not with the dog. I went to the desk and told the receptionist of the problem. I was told in a nasty tone, " What do you expect me to do about it?" I asked to be moved to another room. The response was, " I can check you out" Great customer relations!!!!!!!!!!! Will never go here again. He came to my room 20 min later, never appologized, offered me a room 1 door down. I said that's not going to help me much. He returned with keys to a room on the lower floor opposite from the dog. Why couldn't he have done that in the first place?
“Not too many choices”
Carlyle is a very small town.....there are not a lot of options. Super 8 is a cheaper chain, so the walls are very thin....and the noise travels..... It's fine for the price.
