Thank you for taking time to provide your thoughts; we do appreciate all customer feedback. During your stay we were experiencing higher temperatures than usual, with an amber weather warning in place. We had fans available for guests to request. We had also ordered a number of additional fans in an attempt to make guests more comfortable but these were delayed as many other establishments were trying to do the same. We don't have air conditioning or provide fridges in the rooms. I'm sorry you feel that the service and restaurant quality was not acceptable, if you had spoken to a member of our team during your stay we would have attempted to resolve your concerns. We always aim to provide excellent service and quality. We want all our guests to enjoy their time with us; I'm sorry you feel we didn't provide you with this standard.

We are very proud of our location. We make no secret of being on a working farm and it is listed in all our marketing materials. Unfortunately the flies like our location too. I hope you were able to enjoy all other aspects of your stay.

Thank you for your comments; all customer opinion is important to us. We’re happy to learn that you liked our location, with us being on a working farm unfortunately the flies like the location too. We use products in an attempt to deter the flies but these aren’t always as effective as we’d like. If you’d requested fly spray for your room we would have provided this for you rather than you needing to purchase one yourselves. We acknowledge there was an issue with GF catering for which we apologise. I understand that following your concern being raised you were happier with the GF options provided. Our bar closes at 10pm, we are a small dedicated team who want to offer guests excellent service and to do that we want our staff to be well rested between their shifts; guests are very welcome to enjoy their drinks back in the comfort of their rooms, if they wish. In accordance with current restrictions, we are limiting the number of people using the pool area at any one time. The hour slots are available on a first come first served basis and we advise all guests to book in advance. We do aim to provide all our guests with a positive customer experience, I’m very sorry you didn’t have the experience you expected.

Unfortunately, due to Covid restrictions, our housekeepers cannot enter rooms but can top up/replace items with the supplied door hang request form that guests can leave out each day. We're sorry your were disappointed with this aspect.
