“Carnoustie, not just great golf”

We had arrived late on, on the Sunday night and warmly welcomed by reception staff. We were told information regarding our stay, such as breakfast times and where it would be served. As well as this we were told different options such as room service, early morning wake up calls and if we wished newspapers to be delivered to the room. We then headed up to the room which was lovely, very clean and tidy, with everything you would want. We went for breakfast the next morning and again the staff were very nice and catered for basically anything you wished. On checking out the reception staff were speedy and pleasant, thanking us for our visit. Overall the hotel was excellent and I would not hesitate on recommending it to anyone.

“Perfect golf location”

This hotel is right at the Carnoustie golf club so a better location couldn't be found. One of the few "hotels" you will find in outlying areas of Scotland. If yoiu prefer the smaller B & B type stay, this isn't for you.

“Value for money”

Staff very friendly, room excellant, venue fantastic, not the busiest of towns, had to queue both mornings for breakfast, i say queue we were guided to a large leather sofa and had to wait no more than ten minutes while this seemed to annoy some of the guests we accepted it as it was a fantastic full breakfast and the only reason that there was a queue was because the deal was so good.

A very nice hotel which I would have no hesitation in going back to. Rooms very comfortable and the food was excellent.

We had a very pleasant stay. The large bedroom was spotless and very comfortable - albeit having a view of the car park - but that was of little consequence. Staff were friendly and efficient, and we came away with a favourable impression.

Great hotel with good facilities. Deals out of the golf season are excellent. Staff are very friendly. Food is expensive and quite poor but there is an excellent Indian restaurant 10 min walk away called Ganges so I always go there.

Comfortable quiet room. Staff were attentive. Car parking at hotel.

Lovely hotel, very friendly staff, clean room and good food, a real bargain!

“Carnoustie”

This was our 3rd time at Carnoustie but it seems to be looking a bit tired and the cleanliness was not as good as before. The bar area was dusty, our bathroom cabinet was all marked. However the staff were very friendly and gave excellent service. The pool is great although the steam room is a bit old. The new clubhouse is exceptional. Overall a lovely place just needs some money spent on it.

“not impressed at all”

Comforable hotel, great location, meal service really bad. Breakfast was near enough none exsistant. all new staff working at same time . 20 minute wait before being told what i ordered was not available.on the buffwt nothing wass being filled up and had to go look for glasses for juice.
