Great wee place. Good food roaring fire - proper village inn with proper village atmoshphere. Got a great price. Only thing missing was a bath! I'll be back.

Fantastic Quaint Scottish Hotel.Posted Aug 14, 2013 on Hotels.com
The tartan carpet on the stairs is a vivid memory from my stay. Taking into consideration my exhaustion on arrival, it was an incredibly pleasant place to be spending the evening. Staff were incredibly friendly, and more than willing to help you with all your queries. The pub downstairs serves food til around 8pm, the food is of a very high standard and couldn't be faulted at around £8-10 for a good size main. The room was clean and well equipped for an overnight stay, the shared bathroom across the hall was to a very high standard also. Breakfast catered for all in the sun lounge, and was a very pleasant start to the day. Just a small amount of notice to any cyclist/LEJOG'ers, there isn't any bike storage that I was aware of, so ensure you bring a lock although the area doesn't look awash with crime. A great stay for all occasions, 10/10. A big thanks to my fellow guests who donated to the charity I was cycling for, it was greatly appreciated!!

Just what I needed after a long drive. Nice meal and relaxing night. The room was very clean and although busy the service was fantastic. The owner was very knowledgeable and took interest in what I said.

Great Place to StayPosted Jul 28, 2013 on Hotels.com
Carrbridge is a great alternative to Inverness. The prices are much better and it is conveniently located to see the sights. The town is quiet and friendly. The Cairn Inn is nice and clean, very extremely friendly and helpful staff. The food and service at the restaurant and pub are just as nice as the hotel.

Clean room and well worth the moneyPosted Jul 22, 2013 on Hotels.com
I was booked for single room but when I arrived was given double room at no extra charge. The meals were excellent value and the bar was definitely busy with diners - I was on my own but felt no awkwardness of entering the bar as staff were friendly and welcoming.
