“Nice people, godawful "fitness center"”

I specifically chose this hotel because it claimed to have a fitness center and I wanted to work out in the morning. Well, the elliptical did not work at all, and the exercise bike actually had one pedal detached and lying next to the bike. There were zero free weights so you couldn't do that either. The equipment was, obviously, extremely cheap stuff, like you'd buy in Walmart or something. I am not a nut about this and I didn't raise any fuss at all, but if you're going to claim that you have a fitness center, the equipment needs to be decent and it needs to be maintained. And no free weights? Come on.

Area recommendations

Downtown - Gabe's Downtown restaurant is excellent and there are some cool stores as well.

“Nice stay”

Everything was exactly what I expected from a Holiday Inn Express. Only downside was the shower curtain was too small and water poured all over the bathroom floor after showering. Otherwise, everything was fine.
