“Excellent for the money!”

This motel was right across the street from the event we drove from Michigan to Georgia to take part. The room was very adequate, clean and comfortable. It is a very open entrance and you feel very safe. The area was not overly populated but seemed to be a safe neighborhood. I will probably stay there again next year if I am able to get the time off from work. Definitely recommend!

“Honest room for an honest price”

The map available on the hotel listing in Expedia showed a location on the highway north of town when the actual location was on that same highway south of town. In addition, the hotel, just off an Interstate exit, was tucked behind a small business and shared an entrance with an adjacent hotel, but once found, the room was what we were looking for...a place to crash for the night at an inexpensive price. We might have availed ourselves of their complimentary breakfast if we had been reminded of it at check-in, but with 3 people coming together for 1 evening then going separate ways, in retrospect, we might have skipped it anyway. Clean room, decent beds, quiet and peaceful.

“BEYOUND EXPECTATIONS”

We were tired when we arrived at the Travelodge.Upon entering we were surprise to see the room had a refrig.,Microwave and Coffeemaker.The only thing neg.was the room smelled like an old Air Conditioner. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

“Get What You Pay For”

We needed a quick place to stay for 3 nights just to sleep while visiting family in the area. We spent most of the time at their house & just crashed in the room. The vanity & bathroom were fine. It was not luxury for sure, but you get what you pay for.

We were there for a weekend trip and just needed a place to crash. It's perfect for that. We spent time visiting family there.

The only problem I had with the hotel is that is was not clean.

The internet service was poor. I was on the west side of the hotel with the service coming from the hotel to the east. Yes they pulled service from the hotel next door. I only got it when computer was against the east wall in the room. They only had 2 very poor pillows on the bed. Most hotels I have stayed at have four. The continental breakfast was frosted flakes, and donuts from the gas satation. The ice machine was walking back to the office and them pulling it from a cooler, the kind you have in your car for tailgaiting.

“Incredibly Lackluster”

Check in and check out were fine, though the night clerk was rather snotty. They also made me fill out a form that asked for a LOT of information, which was weird. The place itself was dismal. The TV barely worked, and when we arrived, there were dead bugs in the bathroom. Normally, this could be chalked up to a fluke, but when we switched rooms (see the reason below), the new room ALSO had dead bugs in the bathroom. Not acceptable! Their site advertised free internet, but it didn't work in our room. We had to switch rooms in order to find one that would "reach" the wireless network so we could use it. This took an hour, as it was a fight just to get them to switch our room after trying many different troubleshooting options. The second room had faulty light switches, too, which made figuring out the lighting situation so we could read before bed (or even just see when we got into the room) very frustrating. Parking was absolutely inconvenient. If you got a room near the lobby, which we eventually did, you had to park at the opposite side of the hotel, because there is no parking lot near the front at all. The bed, at the very least, was comfortable, but they were rather stingy with the pillows. If you're desperate for a place to stay in Newnan, GA, stay at the Days Inn across the lot from this Travelodge. Otherwise, opt to stay in Atlanta, or further along the freeway instead. This place made it so we will never stay at a Travelodge of any sort ever again.
