“Gold Dust West is simply best!”

My wife and I were very satisfied with our recent stay at Carson City, NV Gold Dust West Hotel. The staff were courteous and helpful throughout our stay. The room was conviently located re the rest of the hotel and casino. The complementary breakfasts were well prepared and quite tasty. In all, our stay was enjoyable, and we would book again if we are in the area.

The hotel was nice but older GPS instruments wont get you there. Call ahead or get a map from google maps to get to the actual place. Breakfast was AWESOME!

The staff went the extra mile to accommodate our wishes. The customer service was outstanding. The room was clean and comfortable and the on-site restaurants were very good and reasonably priced.

The room was nice along with the people who worked there. The bed was comftorable. Only problem was to realy do much besides in the hotel casino and reasturants you had to drive about 30 miles to go to Reno.

“A nice place to stay”

I was visiting the area for buisness rather than most visitors being there for pleasure. The room was not posh, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and it was surprisingly quiet. They say they're remodeling the rooms. Mine had not been remodeled and it showed, but not too badly. For instance, the shower head didn't adjust, the lampshades were loose and the blackout draps didn't close all the way. I received vouchers for free breakfasts in their grill and was very satisfied with the selections, quantity and quality of each meal. The folks at the front desk were friendly and helpful. They also have an RV Park which has a very nice laundry facility which I used. The only issue there was they don't have a vending machine with laundry detergent.... and the grocery store across the street didn't have single sizes. They include free internet access. The only problem was their work desk is too small. The laptop covered most of the top, leaving no room for much else.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. If you like to gamble, there is a casino on site. The restaurant in the casino offers a free full breakfast for hotel guests.
