“Fantastic value”

I don't usually go to the trouble of writing hotel reviews, but this was such a great value and the owners were so hospitable that I felt a good word was in order. This small, clean, well air-conditioned hotel has recently been tastefully redecorated with a contemporary theme (or it may just be brand new) and is located about a 10 minute walk outside the walled city. There's not much going on in the area where it's located during the day, but it's just down the street from a string of clubs that open later. Highly recommend if you're looking for a mid-range option in Cartagena near the walled city.

“Nice hotel shame about the noise.”

Very nice rooms, breakfast was lovely and the hotel staff were very friendly. The only problem is that there are two nightclubs either side of the hotel and it is difficult to get to sleep with the noise.
