Great location in the old town catagena

Posted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: Everybody in the hotel was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was superb and the hotel was very clean and pristine.
Location: the hotel has a great location: we could walk and tour the city and walk to any restaurant; despite the central location, it was very quite
we had a fabulous time in this hotel: great location; fantastic view; great stuff; clean rooms; great breakfast and very helpful personnel; the manager was very helpful with all our needs, making reservation for dinner, taxi, etc.. we were really pampered

Fabulous city, wonderful hotel

Posted Jul 6, 2014
This is a terrific place, pictures do not do it justice. Located at one end of the walled city near a lovely square. Great for families because deluxe rooms have two large bedrooms and two bathrooms (also an apartment which they upgraded us to for part of our stay). Huge and delicious breakfast; friendly, helpful (but not necessarily English-speaking) staff. Small rooftop pool with great views and lovely patio garden. We loved this place.

Quiet. Centrally located in historic district

Posted Jun 21, 2014
Pros: 30 seconds walk from hotel is Crepes & Waffles which, despite its name, serves all kinds of really good food, Ipswich A/C and Wi-Fi. Ate there twice.
Location: Entire Historic city can be walked in a day. It is only 15 minute walk end to end
Staff spoke enough English for anything you might need. Included breakfast was good. Small Pool on roof was pleasant. Camila at from desk was a pleasure. Very clean hotel. Very quiet with less than 10 rooms. Friendly staff. Secure. AC was critical as Cartegena was extremely humid.

Perfect location in the old city

Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: Location was fantastic
Cons: There was a high pitched sound in our living room, not sure where it was coming from. Shower in one of the bathrooms also didn't get too hot.
Location: Everything is within walking distance, it's a great location
Great boutique hotel. The staff is very friendly, especially Camila at the front desk who can answer all your questions about the city including where to eat, go out, how to get around. Our reservation included a free bike rental, breakfast and wifi. You're right in the middle of the old city so don't worry about getting around, everything is within walking distance. Very cute hotel, you'll enjoy your stay.

Casa Claver - Amazing!

Posted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: Fresh, delicious breakfast every morning (delivered wherever you want - room, pool, etc), location, views, staff were all wonderful
Cons: It was sometimes hard to find a staff member if we had a question, but once we did they were always very helpful and would follow up asap
Location: perfect location in the walled city, close to our favorite parts of the old town with great views and walking distance to almost everything we wanted
We had a FABULOUS week in Cartagena staying at Casa Claver. The hotel is beautiful, with a gorgeous rooftop pool/deck that overlooks the old city with 360 views. The staff was super helpful, breakfast every morning was fantastic, and the location of the hotel couldn't be better. Our room was very small, but we didn't mind since we ended up spending most of our time wandering in the walled city or lounging by the pool.

Great stay, will come back

Posted Dec 10, 2013
I had been in Cartagena before, and took a picture of the house from the outside , without knowing that this was Casa Claver, because I found it beri beautifull from the outside. I had a wedding this weekend and booked an apartment of 2 bedrooms. They where perfect. You feel like home in a contemporary loft with the privacy of 2 rooms.Comfy beds, good pillows, airconditioning etc. It has a nice kitchen nad laundry space if u need. Didnt use the pool of the roof, but went there just to relax ands see the view. I will definetly come back to the hotel.

Perfect hotel for Cartagena trip

Posted Dec 6, 2013
The rooftop deck area was amazing- unbelievable views, surrounded by beautiful architecture, an abundance of colorful flowers, sunshine throughout the day, and sharp decor. Loved the hotel's merging of original, colonial architecture with modern decor and accents. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Perfect spot for our 3 days within the walls of beautiful Cartagena- felt like we were in a tropical version of Europe :)

Beautiful rooms and wonderful staff!

Posted Oct 16, 2013
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Great location, amidst all the bars and stores in the old city. Center of it all!
It was not noisy at all and it felt like you had this place to yourself. Great modern decor and amazing attentive staff! 100% would recommend again!
