Pros: Everything.
Location: Eat at Juan Del Mar - the food is amazing.
The hotel is amazing. It's beautifully maintained and the staff is absolutely the best. I travel extensively, and I have to say that this hotel experience has been by far the best. Thank you David and Carolina - we had an amazing time and will absolutely be back!

Atmospheric and historic with modern flair.

Pros: Hotel staff was so remarkably pleasant and efficient. Concierge Carolina helped us plan and book all tours and was so easy to work with.
Location: Loved central location that was an easy walk to each part of the city...easy to stop back and shower or rest between activities.
Our long weekend was just perfect. The hotel feels like you are staying in someone's home, albeit a very sophisticated mini mansion!! Room was spacious, quiet and loved the tropical view. The details thru-out are stunning. Easy to visit the historic district, San Diego and Getsemani and loved the gorgeous boutiques near Plaza Santo Domingo. Hotel breakfast in the solarium great way to start the day. Exquisite meals at DonJuan, La Vitrola and Vera. Relaxing day arranged by hotel at sister property on Isla Baru basking at the waters edge feeling like Robinson Caruso. Loved it all.

Wonderful character small hotel. Staff had good English and the rooms were very well appointed and extremely comfortable. We loved our stay at San Agustin and would definitely return.
