“On the beach in Bocagrande”

We stayed four days and enjoyed every minute. The pool is a good size. The ocean is a little rough with waves coming frequently and some undertow, although the jetties control this. But this was January and we were told other seasons have a different pattern. Our ocean view room on the 12th floor was large and very comfortable. The view was amazing.

Dann hotel is very well placed, some good restaurants near. Near historical city (downtown). The beach in front of the hotel is amazing. The staff is all time glad for help us. Pool is great as well but the service, when ordered from the pool, has a little delay...

“Another great vacation in Cartagena.......”

Don't let the 4.0 fool you....... This hotel has the best views in all of of Cartagena- I would know since I have been to 15 of the rated 4.0 star Hotels in Cartagena. They have one of the best non gourmet fish dishes I have ever tasted. Not one of the newest Hotels on the beach but deffinetely on of the best in my opinion.What they have is a great piece of beach and an outstanding service..... They are still small enough to react to a "can you get me a couple of oranges because my wife is pregnant" request and big enough to give you all then right stuff when it comes to the most Romantic city in Colombia.....Short story- this is the Hotel you want to come to if you want to fall in love again or make babies!

“March stay at Hotel Dann Cartagena - A paradise”

I stayed with my colombian girlfriend. We absolutey loved this hotel and plan to return. The only complaint was that the air conditioner was not great in our room. They offered us to change rooms and gave us a fan until we could change rooms. The room was not hot but didn't get very cold. We were comfortable with the air conditioner and decided to stay in the room and were very glad that we didn't change rooms. The room was great, the view was great. The bed was comfortable. All of the people in the hotel were absolutely the nicest and most attentive. This has been one of my best hotel experiences. I give them an A+. I can't wait to come back to this hotel in cartagena. The food was also excellent. They made fresh pancakes for me everyday at no extra cost. The room service was excellent with great food although a little pricey. My girlfiriend said it is a paradise. “Best option for a seaside hotel”

Great location on the beach, something that only 3 hotels enjoy. Very good breakfast and incredible view of the ocean.

Excellent service. Breakfast was very good . fresh fruit, delicious juice; very good service. Excellent location, everybody very friendly and kind.

Personnel were courteous and helpful and responded promptly when contacted. I can sum it up in one word....great.

“Good rooms are excelent (ocean view) but the others are bad”

Excelent location but big difference between rooms. Those renewed and with ocean view are great but other rooms can be very noisy, have single beds (something you do not find in hotels anny more)

“Very helpful staff”

Small problem with renovations going on, but clean and very helpful staff. I use the internet a lot when travelling and the Wifi was broken. The reception however provided me with a 3G mobile data connection until the following day so I could carry on work. Nice pool and good facilities in general.
