“Very nice hotel for great price”

Hotel is located in Laguito near Bocagrande beach. Cartagena is a small city and cabs are cheap for US standards, so that was not a problem. Rooms are very clean and spacious. The staff is very friendly. You had 2hrs of free internet daily which was nice.

“Excellent value in Cartagena”

This was our first time visiting Cartagena. Didn't know what to expect. Was traveling with a family of five and needed two rooms. We're very glad we booked the Oceania. The rooms were fine and comparable to any mid-scale US hotel chain. The bathroom was excellent; beds good; cleanliness was fine and size of rooms was U.S.-like, maybe bigger than most. The hotel staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. We particularly enjoyed the breakfast. Interesting things about this hotel from our perspective: It's right across the street from the Hilton. We used the ATM there and had a nice lunch at their casual restaurant. So, you have access to Hilton services, if you need. The Oceania pool is very small and kind of cozy. Our kids appreciated going to the pool at the Almirante' - which is owned by the same outfit and has a sauna, game tables, spa, exercise room, etc. (On the same order as the Hilton.) We walked there, which took us 10 minutes. The Oceania is a 5,000 peso ride from the Old City (about $3 U.S.). This made everything easy for us. Taxi service is simple and cheap in the city, which makes the location of this hotel a non-issue, in our opinion.

I attended a convention at the Hilton hotel. This small hotel delivered better service and value than the big hotel next door. We were very happy with the concierge service and the recommendations from the staff ... Rafael, Hugo and others. Two meals were included, a hearty breakfast, and a sandwich buffet for dinner. Good wireless in the rooms and downstairs. Great value! The only bad thing that happened in our trip was that the elevator was out of service after the first day.

Nice basic hotel at the less crowded laguna side beach. Spacious rooms but no balcony. Windows could not be opened. Internet, breakfast and even very basic supper included. Safe deposit box in the room. Swimming pool much smaller than expected with only 3 reclining chair available.

“Good deal”

Neighborhood can be a bit loud in the mornings. I had some surprising, albeit very minor, phone items on my bill that were taken off after I challeneged them. Overall a good deal. They are really trying. Good breakfast included.
