Nice hotel, but too expensivePosted Apr 2, 2014 on Hotels.com
The hotel is pretty and clean. However, for the price I paid the room and quality of hotel was lacking. The room was very normal. Only had two windows to the interior of the hotel so that meant that anybody walking down the hallway could look into my room--lack of privacy. As a result, I never had the curtains open. Additionally, the only pool available is in the first floor in the lobby--which means nobody ever uses it and it's mostly decorative. There is a jacuzzi upstairs on the rooftop--which is not really used by anyone as it is usually very hot in Cartagena. The hotel is nice and well maintained, it just doesn't represent the high nightly rate they charge...I paid about $300 per night, the same rate of the Sofitel Santa Clara...a far superior hotel.

Beautiful hotel with attentive staffPosted Mar 25, 2013 on Hotels.com
Stay here. Literally the nicest hotel in the city. Beautiful pool deck. Attentive staff. They even made a private typical dinner for our friend's bday in the dining room with pre-drinks on the rooftop.
