Nice street view from balcony (but I think only two apartments with balcony so maybe I got lucky). Breakfast is purposely cooked for you and good quality, so not unlimited buffet. Central, lots to do nearby, near restaurants, transport, beach, gym, shops. Cooler and fridge in room was surprisingly good. Secure building because no visitors allowed and reception very small. Very noisy area nearly all night/morning, no blackout blinds, no “do not disturb/clean” tag for door, none of the staff speak basic level of English. Overall, you get what you pay for (so don’t compare to Hilton or Caribe down the road) and if you don’t mind the night noise and speak a little Spanish then a good choice for travelling on a budget and I would return but most probably bring something to temporarily blackout windows.

This hotel has its pros and cons: Pros: -If you're seeking an affordable place within a short walking distance to the beach, this hotel is an excellent choice. Boca Grande beach is just a 3-5 minute walk away. -The neighborhood is safe and offers convenient access to amenities like banks, shops, and restaurants. It's also easy to find transportation to the city center within 10-20 minutes. Cons: - While they provide daily room cleaning, the sheets won't be changed unless you specifically request it. - The air conditioning doesn't have an automatic shut-off, leading to uncomfortably cold nights, especially since there are no comforters. - Curiously, they keep tight control over the towels, as if they're afraid they'll be stolen. Your towels often disappear as soon as you step out. - The hotel enforces numerous rules, giving the impression of being confined in a restrictive environment such as a jail. For each visitor you have, there's a charge of 70,000 COB before they're allowed to enter your room. This policy applies even if it's just a brief 1-hour massage, which can become quite costly if you have many friends visiting. Additionally, the staff's attitude towards visitors can be quite impolite. - Complimentary bottled water is not provided. - The breakfast experience is quite underwhelming and minimal. However, considering the price you pay, it's acceptable. In conclusion, I would not choose to stay there again. Best of luck in your decision-making.

For your safety, visits are allowed to the guest at the reception or on the terrace, which is an open area. Or unless the guest wants to stay there is an additional cost.2. The cleaning is daily unless the guest does not want it, the washing of the towels is daily and they are delivered in good condition, as well as the cleaning of the sheets.3. According to the affordable price we offer a balanced breakfast, for this reason we do not give free bottles of water, we offer them in the reception area with an additional value.4. We do not give the appearance of being a prison, we generate security, calm and a family atmosphere for the guest.5. Each room has an air conditioner with its own control. The guest can graduate it according to the temperature they want. And he is offered a blanket.Thank you for appreciating the favorable points.att: Administration.

Buenas, Sr. Diego En su estancia en el hotel se le informo que en su caso se le debía facturar a Expedia, al momento de su llegada su reserva ya estaba pagada por la Ota, por lo anterior se le explico a usted que al momento de realizar el pago a Expedia ellos debían realizarle la factura de venta. The bedsheets feel like sand paper, there's no comforter. The shower was freezing cold. The elevator and TV weren't working. I had to commit to a specific time for breakfast when I checked in but still ended up waiting 20 min for my breakfast to be served. Overall, the location is great but the place is run down.

Owner needs to restock towels and bed linens
Owner needs to restock with new bath towels. Towels look like they have not been replaced for about 5 years. Towels they currently have on stock or use show stains of unknown liquids. Seems that owner has not replaced bed linens either. Have noticed that after room is made housekeeping use the same linens as the night before and not replace with new clean linens.

I was on vacation and departed very early from Santa Marta to Cartagena on my own. Expected to have a good night of sleep after travelling by bus several hours and walking all day long. I took a pill for sleeping to be sure I would not be bother for any noise, until the phone started ringing. They stopped as soon as I answered and couldnt sleep again. When I complained with the receptionist the next morning, he just said that there were some drunk people calling the guests. And added "dont worry, tonight you will sleep ok because they are gone"!!!! No more comments.

Hotel was noisy, front desk was unprofessional, manager was rude and after leaving a tips for the room services the Manager went to the room as I was checking out and took the tip brought it downstairs to me. I explained that it was the tip for the room service and she took it and put in her pocketbook. Shameful’

Worst Hotel i ever stayed and will tell all my friends who travel to that country when that name pops up, turn off the computer immediately or restart their phone. I wasnt able to have no guest, they had 3 water in my fridge and then told me was 4 when i checked out and had to pay.

This hotel is great for economical travelers looking a nice place to stay near the beach. They offer free breakfast and the staff is attentive for the most part. My primary complaints were the bed sheets and towels; they need new sheets and clean towels. They also need more towels in the rooms.

I liked the location a lot, and the room was very comfortable and clean. I didn't like the fact that I had asked if they could charge me a couple of items I used from the minibar to my debit card and when the time came and had to pay, the said the amount was too low for them to run the card. It was my last day and I didn't have any cash on me. It was ridiculous.

Dirty pool, misrepresented room, little service.
When we arrived the receptionist was friendly and quick. The room we were given looked nothing like the ones in the photos and had a tiny window near the ceiling. The coffee was bland, and the pool looked dirty (things were floating in it). As we were about to go to bed, my girlfriend saw a cockroach in our room. There were no other rooms available , and the night receptionist made very little effort to contact any hotels to find us different accommodations. I had to walk the streets to find another hotel room. Very disappointing experience. On a good note , the hotel is 2 blocks from the popular beach.

I feel the pictures featured while I booked online were very misleading. The rooms looked updated, spacious, and the pool looked refreshing. Unfortunately, upon my arrival the rooms were very small, the pool chairs were outrageously dirty, the pool had no sun, and there were stains on my pillow and bedsheets.

I really liked the location. There’s lots of little spots and cool restaurants. Close to carbón de palo. Great steaks. What I didn’t like was that it was really loud in the am. My room was facing the street and the car horns and noises woke me up really early but you don’t go to Cartagena to sleep in so I didn’t mind.
