This hotel is located on the best part of the beach. Their service is outstanding. The owners (Dominique, Alfonso, and Ramon) oversee every detail of the hotel operations. They courteously introduced themselves at the dining room and asked personally how everything was. Where do you get that level of service these days? One of the waitresses (Eneida) noticed one day we were running late for breakfast being served downstairs and offered to bring breakfast up to our room. Expedia.com describes "5 Stars" as a place where the employees anticipate your needs; well, there you have it. You don't have to go to an over-the-top luxurious hotel to receive personalized service. One of the owners personally oversees the food preparation. I highly recommend their "Playa Club - Fish Fillet" as well as their authentic coconut rice; yes, this hotel has great food at an excellent price. I just left Cartagena and I already want to return. “Friendly staff not at must stay”

Hotel is small, 5 floors with about 15 rooms per floor. Small pool. Conveniently located across from the beach. We reserved a double bedroom, once we got there we had a one bed. Within five minutes workers were logging in a twin bed frame with box spring and matters. We had a twin and a full bed with no roon to place our clothes. No refrigerator. Air conditioner worked great. The hotel next to us is an all inclusive and had loud music until late every night. Breakfast was not the best but ok at best. My credit card was charged at all until checkout which was nice.

“Cheap Hotel in Good Location only a bit Tired”

Hotel was in a good location. Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel was a bit tired, needs paint and some general freshining up. To their credit they were working on another floor. The beds were very very very firm. Room was clean, bathroom a bit cramped. Breakfast was included, was edible, but nothing special or memorable. Considered going somewhere else for breakfast and paying for it just to get a good meal. Expedia says the hotel has in-room safes, they do not. Expedia says the hotel has a safety deposit box at the front desk, and that's technically true, they have 2. The procedure is you give them what you want to put in the box, they inventory it, put it in an envelope with your name and room on it, and that goes in the safe. I did use this service without issue, but it was less than ideal. The pool was dirty. They do not run their pool pump, and there was a fine black greasy layer floating on top. All the white tiles above the water line were black with a thick greasy film. I had no problem writing "llavame" in the greasy film with my finger.
