This property was an over priced dump. Booked 2 rooms. Both room sliding doors on the 1st floor could not be closed. The safe in one room didn’t work and the window in one room couldn’t be closed. We refused to stay in rooms with doors that couldn’t be closed so they fixed them both. They attempted to fix the safe, it work for a few hours then stopped. The air conditioner hissed all night and barely cooled the room. Asked for a change of room which they denied. Save your money and book elsewhere. Oh yes the staff were just rude and operate mechanically just doing a job they obviously hate.

The hotel is nice, however, the facade is a little beat up. The rooms were ok, we had to constantly remind them to give us extra towels for the bathroom as the shower had no door, so every time we shower the bathroom was a mess. Regarding the towels to use in the pool area, every morning they were out of clean towels we had to go back multiple times to ask for clean and dry towels. The restaurant food was ok, the service has a lot of room for improvement, getting a coffee in the morning was always really hard, they sometimes would look surprised when you asked for milk and sugar for your coffee, also while you are waiting to get service, you can see the “managers” getting all the attention from the employees while they have breakfast. For the price the hotel is ok.

Staff was excellent and easy taxi service. Had a convenience store and pharmacy on property that was superb. Restaurant was a plus only room for improvement would be the walk path to the beach. Overall the staff and property was excellent and will come back!!

First of all, we will come back not doubt. The place is beautiful, the food it’s delicious and the service is outstanding! I like that the property was very close to many things and places and that it had a 24 hour store on site . I really disliked being harassed by the beach vendors and police in front of the hotel relentlessly for money.

The night we checked in we found a big waterbug, roach on the balcony. The balcony door was so hard to slide. Even with the privacy sign on the door housekeeping still knocking in the morning. The AC was leaking The shower head is way too high They do not replace the towels The front door had to be pushed very hard to open. But i have to say the staffs were very nice and friendly. The hotel is not what's being advertised online, it needs a lot of work.

Where to start 1.expedia told me when I booked that payin g at the hotel would b 720.00 us.but the cleck told me it would b 826.00 us dollars b of somethging I still do not u nderstand then I had a guest in my room not to sleep but juat to have a few drink which they informed that would cost 100000peso.I travel all around the world and NEVER heard od something so upserd....the breafast was passible as best.I could go on but why

This hotel felt luxurious. The room was spacious. I had a balcony with partial ocean view overlooking the pool. The one thing I feel they could improve on is trying to control the flies that entered the dining area of the buffet.

The staff, pools,room,bar,restaurant, the beach were good, the gym needs a lot of upgrades,the toilet in the room needs more flushing strength, very weak flush,you have to hold the button down for a while to get it to flush clear, the closet is too small to hang clothing like pants,shirts etc..

I requested a fan for my suite..I told the front desk staff every day that I can't sleep without a fan noise...I can't believe a Sonesta hotel did not own a $25 fan for when a guest requested..I stayed in at executive suite.. Also.. rooms smell like mildew..I couldn't sleep for 4 nights..for Christmas. I will send a few fans for other guests like me that need a fan to sleep..thanks..
