Stay awayPosted Jan 15, 2013 on Hotels.com
The 'superior' room that we booked turned out to be an underground dungeon without windows. Aircon and fan were old and noisy, the bedsheets were on gray side and had a few too many suspicious spots. We were not given a key to either room or safe and were offered to leave the room and valuables unlocked. Unless you are not looking for trouble, stay elsewhere.
Avoid if you canPosted Nov 10, 2012
Pros: leaving and booking another hotel
Location: in the old city
Avoid. I wouldn't stay at this hotel if it was the last one left in Cartagena. There are much better hotels for the same price.

Correspondeu as expectativas.Posted Oct 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
Ótima localização, proximo a restaurantes e praças.

Casa del Noble in Walled CityPosted Sep 4, 2012 on Hotels.com
Comfortable and friendly "at home" type of environment. Conveniently located 1 block from the famous Hotel Santa Clara within the walled city of Cartagena de Indias.

Nice old house, great location, careless servicePosted Jul 19, 2012
Pros: The building (a beautiful old house)
Cons: The service.
Location: Perfect. Close to everything
The hotel is a beautiful old house, with a great location (close to everything but in a relatively quiet street). The rooms seemed to be very different between them. The ones located in the upper floors were OK, the one in the lower floor (the one I got) not (no windows). The room could have been nice but lacked some minimal stuff: a chair, a table of some sort, a acceptable reading light. The bathroom was fine but without hot water. Depending on the hour (and how tired were you) it can be a problem. The main problem is the service. I had to ask for toilet paper, for soap, and for my room being cleaned. Apparently nobody thought that those are normal services. The breakfast was rather basic (coffee, juice, eggs and toast) but is what I usually have, so no complaints. The experience as a whole wasn`t terrible because the people were friendly and the city is fantastic. But considering the price I believe the service was way below acceptable. And it is a shame because a minimal service improvement and just some minor adjustments in the room would have mean a superb experience.
