Stay Thanks giving

Hotel was good at reasonable. but the restaurant was not open at Thanks giving. We were very troubled.

Stayed there Thanksgiving night during my travels. Located very close to many attractions ..... 2 minutes away from the NJ Turnpike.

Not what they claim to be

I have stayed at holiday inn express hotels before and this hotel is not worthy of carrying the same name as those hotels. We had to have our room changed after initially checking inn because our original room had such a foul smell that we could not stay in it for more than a few minutes at a time. The second room they gave us didn't smell great but it was much better than the original so we kept it. Hotel staff was very rude and ignored us when we entered the lobby. When we asked several hotel staff what stores were around or near the hotel every single one said they didn't know. When working in a hotel you are dealing with customers who are likely from out of the area and will need assistance finding things I could not believe how unaccomadating they were in this aspect. We were very disappointed with our stay overall.

Pillows and bed were Great. Clean Rooms.

Pros: The room was always clean and bed and pillows were great!
Cons: Gym equipment needs fixing and upgrade. MUSIC!!!
Location: Went to the mall and lots of place to eat. Great location! Will be back.
Great place to stay if you're on business or just need a nice clean place to stay!

It was ok, not as expected for a Holiday Inn hotel

Cons: Breakfast quality and service definitely need improvement. Phone lines to the rooms must be monitored through the front desk for security.
Location: I thought that the location is ideal for Staten Inland. However, the fee to cross the bridge to S.I. was $13 each trip which was a disappointing.
The breakfast was a bit below the standard level of a Continental Bkfst. The first morning, all items were out due to an expected number of guests (10-15) who walked in at the same time and basically cleaned up everything available for about 5-10 minutes before items were gradually replaced on the breakfast line. Local maps for the area where the hotel was located were not available. Early morning at 6:30 Am the phone rang acting as from the front desk which actually turned out a fishy call from outside the hotel.

Great hotel and convenient location. I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The rooms are clean and staff are friendly.
