“Will go back again”

Overall I was very happy with the Hampton Inn. The room was very clean and comfortable. The towels were shaped into pretty fans and the toliet paper folded at the end (not necessary, but appreciate the extra effort). There was a wide gap under the room door, so I used a bath towel to fill the gap and fortunately the hallway was quiet anyway. The complimentary breakfast was nice, featuring not only the proverbial wafflemaker (which I love), but a hot buffet wtih bacon, hash browns and cheese omelets. Traveling alone, I felt safe and cared for.

Everything was clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were just crumbles but the fruit was good.

“BED BUGS”

The hotel is older and not well kept. I stayed the first night and woke to finding bugs on my bed. I reported it to management who said they would investigate. They changed the linens. That evening when I returned, I had the desk clerk escort me to my room so I could show her the problem and ensure that a change of linens was all that was necessary. Upon entry to the room, we immediately noticed bugs on top center of the fresh white comforter. Trying to determine the source we looked up and the bugs were on the ceiling. Upon doing a search on Bed Bugs - I found that the bugs I saw on the bed were in-fact Bed Bugs AND that they generally reside on the ceiling and walls until they find a heat source for feeding. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. Go down the street to the brand new and very nice Comfort Suites.
