Totally pissed off
Spent night on 2nd of January after booking through hotels.com. Paid online with girlfriends credit card. Upon checking in , I was told I needed to provide a credit card for “incidentals” and got an alert via text that $164 charge was pending on my credit card. When I went on my app, I discovered I was charged 3x for the identical amount. I went downstairs and spoke with the front desk employee. That explained that “it sometimes happens” but should fall off within a day or 2. I requested she leave a message for the manager as I was going to be extremely displeased if it didn’t. The following morning during checkout I requested to speak with manager. She assured me that it should disappear within 3 or 4 days (yet it showed up within 60 seconds as being held on my phone app). Just went on my app and it’s Still showing pending 13 days later??? Don’t care whether the stay was great or poor, just shocked that my $ is still pending after being assured it would be handled!!!!

Five star hotel
From the front desk to the room service staff cleanliness of the room, the complimentary breakfast it was a very enjoyable stay. I would recommend the Holiday Inn express in Rome Georgia to anybody heading that way.

This hotel was perfect for the imagine festival. It was super clean…spotless!!! And i would def recommend this hotel to anyone. Staff was great!! The only downside was when it was extremely busy, it was hard finding parking on 1 of the 3 nights we stayed there. But even with that, it was WELL WORTH IT!! The beds were comfortable!!! If you can, upgrade to the suite!!! Till next Time!!! 5 stars all the way

Housekeeping only does room after your stay is over. The front desk didn’t mention it and when asked she told me they do the room every third day which was not true as well

Property and room were all very well maintained, clean and very high quality. The staff was incredibly friendly, the room was comfortable and spacious, and the continental breakfast was plentiful and delicious food.

Property was fine. Not as nice as the last couple of Holiday Inn Express’ I’ve stayed in but it was ok. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was good. Only things didn’t like was sofa was stained a bit and the A/C was a bit loud. Everything else was fine.

It was a busy weekend and the staff was very patient with us. We arrived earlier than usual and decided to check out down town Rome while we waited for our room to get ready. They had it ready for us exactly when they said it was.
