Disapponting. I question the renovated room???

I don't like to leave negative comments because I understand it is someone's business, but I was very disappointed with this hotel. We did ask for a smoking room, and we were traveling with a dog, so maybe we were put in a room that had not been renovated (Room 114). The bathroom had not been updated, and the true signs of a dirty room, the smoke detector was extremely yellowed and dirty, as well as the fan in the bathroom. The breakfast was very skimpy, no fruit, there was one bagel, and powdered and regular donuts. The hot breakfast was waffles.

Relocating to MI, this stay was very nice, and they allowed our dog with no charge. Would stay here again.

Poor customer service; cut too many corners

This is the first hotel that I ever stayed at and was asked 'Do you want housekeeping'. Which after the fact meant....do you want someone to make up your bed and clean the room. And when i dicovered the bedspread was in dire need of a sanitizing wash, i was told to bring it down and they would wash it....which I refused to do given the condition of the bedspread.

Cozy and Comfy

Pros: The room had everything we needed. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, blow dryer, iron and ironing board. Comfy bed and great tv.
Location: Very close to Red Top Mountain.
My husband and I and our little dog stayed 2 nights. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed the large flat screen tv.
