Very clean room with nice bedPosted Nov 3, 2013
This is small town America (carthage tx) and the BW was excellent. The difference was that BW allowed a smoking room on line and the competition did not. Great room and the bed felt like mine at home.

Great place to stayPosted Aug 22, 2013
We needed a ground level room and were able to get one. The CivicCenterwas close by and easily reached. We really appreciated the refrigerator and microwave. We plan to stay there again.

Pros: Staffed by Americans
Cons: Only 1 coffee pack in room

More than expected for price paid. Close to my work, easy to find, egg and sausage breakfast.

Hotel reviews make for happy hotel bookings!Posted May 20, 2012
Pros: Reasonably priced room with the comforts of home.
Cons: A television guide with programs and times listed would have been nice.
Location: Conveniently located on the loop. The rooms were set back away from the traffic noises, which was an added benefit.
We had a large comfortable bed, plenty of pillows and towels, a good breakfast selection, ice for our cooler, and a senior citizen discount to boot. Only important thing missing was the Speed channel on the television. (Really missed seeing the NASCAR race.) All in all, a very nice stay! P.S. We would have missed booking this room if we hadn't gone to Expedia. The rodeo was in town and rooms were scarce. Thank you, Expedia, for looking out for us!

Great value for the price - would stay here againPosted Apr 17, 2012
Pros: Comfy bed with great pillows and a delicious breakfast.
Cons: I wanted to continue sleeping, so having to leave was my least favorite part of my stay :)
Our room was quite comfortable, and all of the employees with whom we had contact were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic! Waffles, biscuits and gravy, cheese omelet, yogurt, fresh fruit, oatmeal, cold cereal, bagels, pastries ... so many options - no excuse to go away hungry.

Will Continue to Use Bestern Western Inns & HotelsPosted Mar 13, 2012
Pros: Location, and ease to get to, one of the few hotels that still have a Micro/Refrig in the rooms.
Cons: The lighting and to few elec. outlets.
Location: Located on the Loop and one of the main streets to town.
Housekeeping oversite needs to be taught to be more detailed. We found trash under the Dust ruffle of both beds and some change. There was a slight oder in the room but after we left the door open awhile and sprayed some Freebres and Disinfec the oder was better. We did not have enough face towels (there was only 2 face towels, to the 3 bathtowels and 2 Hand towels). The Breakfast area was clean and organized, the staff was very helpful and when an item ran out she made sure that it was replenished. Took the time to help the guest that was not sure where something was or how to work the equipment. Thank you, and I did apply for the Best Western Rewards Club, and the staff took the time to explain how the Rewards Club worked. I will be using Best Western Inns & Hotels again, I have used them in the past. Whenever I had a problem they fixed it, so I have not major complaints.
