Quiet and lovely!

The room and the courtyard were very clean. Would be an amazing place to have a family reunion or small wedding. Never did see the inn keepers or the owners. Met the guy that took care of watering the plants and the cleaning lady....Maybe that was the owners??? Mystery keepers of a really nice place...My daughter and I enjoyed our little home away from home.

In Florence for 50 year class reunion. All the cheap places booked up. It was OK but a bit pricey.

Lovely place off the beaten track. Pulled in on a week night, not a soul to be found, not a single car in the parking lot. There was a note of the office door and my room was lit. Spooked at first by how deserted it was, I realized that this is really a weekend place. The room was very nice, more of a B&B than a conventional hotel room. Breakfast was on offer as mentioned at 7AM. Nice place.

Perfect desert retreat!

Posted Mar 20, 2012 on Hotels.com
The Inn at Rancho Sonora was absolutely wonderful. The courtyard setting for the individual rooms was just like a picture! The water fountain, native plants, and birds provided the most restful sounds and the night was the perfect temperature to sit outside and enjoy it all. The pool and hot tub is just a short walk from the main courtyard area and provides another spot to sit and enjoy the desert sounds or take a dip in the heated pool. It was so dark and clear that it was a perfect spot to stargaze! Our room was large and comfortable and felt like we were visiting an old friend. As we arrived in the early evening after office hours, the proprietors left a note for us on the office door which directed us to our room which was kindly left open with the light on! The morning breakfast in their Arizona Room was delightful with a choice of breakfast cereals, yogurt, juice, coffee, and muffins or bagels. The tables allow from to spread out and make plans for the day or visit with the other Inn guests. The cities of Florence or Coolidge are about 10 miles away and both had plenty of local restaurants to chose from. We also found both Safeway and Walmart to be conveniently nearby. Direct TV and free internet were both available, however we were happy to open the windows and just enjoy the desert sounds and breezes and turn in early for a very peaceful quiet rest! Thanks so much for a pleasant visit. We would definetly return to The Inn at Rancho Sonora!

Quaint!

This place had a great homey feel to it! Small courtyard with a pretty fountain was nicely set in the Sonoran Desert. If you are looking for a place specifically in Florence, it is nice. However, it isn't really convenient for travellers crossing I-10 through Arizona. Wouldn't recommend the rooms for people with families as the rooms are pretty small. There is an adjacent RV park which would be good for a family passing through with a trailer, though. Comfy bed and clean bathroom! I thought the price for the room was a bit high for the size of the room, but would still recommend the place. Friendly staff too!
