Charming hotel in the old part of the city!Posted May 15, 2014
Location: Many small shops, restaurants in and outside the walls, near the ramparts and just across from the Cistern (a must see). The ramparts close at 6:00
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We traveled to the hotel in a rental car, and know that you do actually drive through the arch into the old city - if you are from the US you may think you can't bring a car into the old city, but you can. We were two women on our own, and the staff made us feel very comfortable. We didn't eat at the raid, but dined at a local fish restaurant recommended by the staff. We would not have chosen this restaurant on our own, but are so glad the staff recommended it - delicious, authentic and inexpensive. Internet connection was excellent. It is located in the heart of the Portuguese city (which is why most people want to visit El Jadida) and just 200 m from the main market. The riad is safe and secure. It is a great guesthouse if you want to relax for short or long-stay.

Cute Budget OptionPosted Apr 1, 2014
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: Hot water takes awhile to appear--but it's great when it does!
Nice place in the old city. Skews towards a younger crowd so there's some noise but nothing too terrible. Staff was very friendly and helpful and they seem to serve some alcohol on their rooftop terrace (we didn't have any but saw the menu).

The Portuguese City is THE must-see in El Jadida, and the Guest house is smack in the middle of it. The Portuguese Cistern and the Citadel Remparts are steps away. Getting there from the train station requires a rather harrowing taxi ride to the Portuguese City gate, but one can hoof it to the bus station in about fifteen minutes. The The Guest house itself is charming with its traditional decor, inviting terrace and great bathroom on the second floor! Staff is young and bright and courteous. The surroundings are perfectly safe, as well as the beach and the souk right across the street from the main gate. As a middle-aged woman travelling solo, I was greeted with respect and smiles everywhere.

Perfect to relax and enjoy Moroccan culturePosted Nov 7, 2012
The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They make you feel very comfortable. The food was amazing. I strongly recommend trying the Berbere omelette and the tagine/couscous. It's delicious. You can enjoy breakfast or dinner at the terrasse. Internet connexion was excellent and very fast. It's located in the heart of the city Portuguese and just 200m from the main market. The place is safe and secure. It's a great guesthouse if you want to relax for short or long-stay.

Had two nights at the lovely hotel. Charming Morrocan decor. We were made to feel very welcome. Sayed was very helpful and told us much about El Jadida and Moroccan culture - more useful than any guide book.
