Two major issues with this property - we arrived and this property was almost completely closed down. The pools were drained, all the beach facilities were closed, They had very limited food options. The Spa was not full staffed, and the activities were shut down. We were given no prior information or warning of this. The second issue was we paid for the Family suite, listed as the largest ocean front suite on the property. We paid a lot for this room and what we received was 2 adjoining hotel rooms that they claimed was a suite. It was not nearly as large or nice as advertised. The property seemed nice enough if it was actually functional and the staff was nice, but made ZERO effort to make up for amy issues we had.

The Family Suite is composed of an Ocean View Suite with its connecting Room.In fact, one swimming pool was closed for annual maintenance to improve the pool customer experience as informed on the web site, however our second pool and the beach facilities of the barbecue beach were operational.There are seasonal restaurants that only open in summer, but all other restaurants and activities were open. Nice week away pre christmas. Hotel very quiet, pools too cold to swim as not heated so guess most people stay away. Outside temp was 16-18 degrees. Just played golf most days, course was very good, really enjoyed it and hardly anyone on it either . A la carte restaurants were excellent, buffet breakfast was fine. Buffet evening meal was average. Lots of activities for kids. All the staff were very pleasant and professional. Aicha was our maid and she was excellent, very thorough. Overall had a really nice time, would happily go again, hard to fault.

Unfortunately the hotel doesn’t live up to a 5* resort. We had many issues throughout the stay which were addressed during the stay, however impacted the overall stay. The two biggest issues are the condition of the rooms which are getting very dated. Our suite didn’t have working electricity on the terrace (Terrace Suite). Our second room the locks on the doors (key fobs) stopped working during the stay which led to our room being accessible to all. The positive would be the staff in the restaurants and the cleaning staff. They were very nice and helpful.

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve been in with excellent restaurants with lots of assortment of places to eat. The place is huge, so you can never feel crowded, and the place has so many activities to do you will never be bored.

While the property is gorgeous and the food and dining are delicious, the service provided by the staff was top notch. The staff, in addition to always being incredibly friendly, would remember your name, breakfast preferences (i.e. your drinks would be at your table immediately after you went to the breakfast buffet), waiters and waitresses were extremely attentive, and the housekeeping staff did a great job (I left my clean clothes outside my suitcase and when I got back from the beach, all of them were refolded). I highly recommend this resort.

This Resort is absolutely perfect for a family vacation. It has so much to do for kids and adults and it is even though fully booked not crowded due to its size. Buddha Bar at the beach is lovely. Only one recommendation for improvement: The Sunbeds around the pool need to be renewd. On many of them you feel metal bars in your back.

Best beach resort in Morocco
We had an excellent time at Mazagon. Everything was perfect. I was extremely impressed of how they take care of their guests. The service was the best as I ever seen. The beach was gorgeous and the whole place was magical. Very family friendly but also plenty of things to do for all kind of vacationers. Definitely will be back. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone. One remark the staff in buffet they should trained them more ,they don’t give you your own space some of them they asking about money , and they bring food for some costumer not even in buffet . To be professional all costumer are equal until you paid for something special . If you look from middle east all waiters will try to serve you table . If you look Moroccan you know the story.

Large beautiful resort with many amenities and activities. The restaurants are very good, providing a wide variety of cuisine choices. The staff is absolutely top-notch! There’s a medical facility on site, which one is extremely helpful for our family.

Golf was fun, staff were kind. In terms of transportation, I was charged 125$ to get to the airport for my morning flight. They offered a free airport shuttle but I didnt qualify because I had to leave before it started. I think that was ridiculous. My room was 175$/night. I brought them business by having my travel companion book two nights at their resort. Transportation to the airport should have been free. I would go back to golf but not to stay. Breakfast buffet had a lot of options and the bed was quite comfortable. I do not gamble but the casino was large and nice.

I did not know what to expect from this resort. My purpose was for relaxation and golf. It was definitely more than what I expected. Top notch customer service!! The staff and resort was excellent. At first I had issues rebooking my hotel room due to flight delays thinking. Expedia customer service told me that the hotel was charging me $500 to make a change from 1per to 2 pp stay. Berceuse I was getting nowhere with Expedia, I called the hotel directly. The hotel was extremely accommodating to make my room change at no charge. Which was much different than what Expedia was telling me!! Nevertheless the hotel customer service is one of the best I’ve seen especially since I’ve travelled to many places I don’t leave reviews. I was compelled to because of the customer service we received from the hotel from start to finish of our trip.

The waiters and staff are very helpful but I did have a waitress re use cups and cutlery from the used station rather than clean when it was busy at breakfast Also the poolside restaurant was over run with flies, making the lunch an unpleasant experience when and some simple netting would have prevented this
