worst best western ever

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: I got to leave and I won't have to ever stay there again. Comfort Inn for us next time.
Cons: Where to begin -- start with our experience.
We have had wonderful experiences with Best Western until this one. We were put across an interior courtyard from a ballroom that played booming music until 11 that nite. The courtyard was dirty and littered with paper and people drifting out of the ballroom were visiting outside our room -- and they weren't quiet either!!! Our bed had a pseudo blanket the thickness of a piece of denim and five pillows-- or should i say rocks -- and one of them reeked of perfume. You don't sleep on them, that's for sure. No guide either on the TV remote or on paper for the TV. Each thing by itself is probably not a big deal, but put them all together and it makes for a lousy stay.

Three Day Stay

Posted Nov 17, 2014
Pros: Reasonable prices, location.
Cons: Seemed to be in remodel of the restaurant. All food service moved to Gazebo area which was cold every day there. It did get to record lows for Nov.
Location: Good access from !-25. Gas stations nearby.
Room could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom.

Close to highway, easy to find

Posted Oct 28, 2014
Upon arriving at the front desk I was told that my room reservation was not found. I had my reservation email in hand and provided my name. The room was already paid for in adavance. After 15 minutes or more another front desk clerk found my reservation and was very helpful. I had to request 2 additional room keys ans the staff was very helpful with this. There was plenty of parking, and not too far to the elevator. I felt safe parking my car at this hotel. The bed was fairly comfortable with plenty of pillows. The fridge and microwave were handy as we stayed 2 nights. The housekeepers did not empty garbages or replace towels after the first night. I had to go to the front desk for more towels. The pool is nice for the kids to play, but is only open for an hour and a half. The free breakfast is nice, but they were out of both applejuice and orange juice at 615 in the morning. They also had no more muffins. Not much to chose from which is disappointing. The AC in the room does not work well if you get hot easily. This was one of the frustrations I experienced. The room we stayed in was very quiet, I only heard a door slam a few times the second morning. I liked how hot the water was in the shower. There was also plenty of counter space in the bathroom to get ready numerous times at the Pageant. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. I do think it is slightly overpriced for the quality.

Never Again

Posted Oct 23, 2014 on Hotels.com
I will Never again stay at this hotel while in town for business. For starters the front desk girl was more interested in texting on her phone than checking us in. When i got to my room and turned the A/C on it would only run one cycle and then shutoff. There was Hair in shower that wasn't mine and the vent in the ceiling had a good 2 inches of sheet rock missing from around the seal.

Family Stay

Great for kids, nice pool, nice people. There are upgrades happening but it did not impact our stay in anyway. The Internet is really slow but that was the only downside.

Could have been worse.

Remodel going on at hotel. Room smelled like sheet rock. Party going on all the smokers stood outside room talking and smoking. We were able to change rooms but the AC didn't work very well. Also sink and toilet are in the same room so only one person can get ready at a time.
