Great hotel for the price

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Ended up staying the week instead of original 5 days. Price break was better. Comfortable bed, wifi included, mini fridge and microwave in room. Continental breakfast. Worked great for me. They are remodeling so anxious to see the changes in my future visits.

Budget friendly road trip stop

Posted Jun 26, 2015
Pros: The service was excellent. Despite some internet problems, the staff was very responsive and helpful.
Cons: Location (just kidding)
Although the neighborhood was a bit sketchy, the motel itself had everything we needed -- frig, micro, internet, clean comfortable room.

Pros: nothing
Cons: Staff, organization
I got there and had to wait for the people to check me in. It was like they were going out of their way to wait on me. Then they only had me booked for one night. I booked 2 on expedia. They claimed they fixed it. They also charged me less than I had already paid on Expedia, but can't prove it because they would not give me a receipt. I only stayed at this hotel because it was the only room left, never again.

Stay at the Showboat

Posted May 5, 2015
Pros: The location and the price. Pleasant person at front desk.
Cons: I would ask not to be in the same room as it was just off the lobby and I could hear pretty much everything all night. The pillows were hard.
Location: Location was convenient. We were just passing through so we did not stay long enough to enjoy anything but a quick meal at the steakhouse- good food!
The staff at the National 9 Showboat hotel was very friendly and accommodating. I speak mainly of the night clerk who signed us in. In a nutshell: the bed and bath were clean, the bed comfortable, and it was a street-quiet room. There were some drawbacks, however. The pipes and upper areas of the room and under the sink needed some cleaning/sprucing up. In addition see below:

You get what you pay for?

Posted May 4, 2015
Pros: Pretty comfortable bed.
Cons: Spruce the place up!
Location: Near I-25, I think.
Well, the room was clean and the linens seemed new. The whole place was very scratch and dent and most of the continental breakfast was set up on a card table. It was just old. I was expecting better, however.

reserved room NOT available

Posted Apr 28, 2015
Prepaid non-smoking room was not available even though rate was prepaid and guaranteed for arrival. Substitute room was unacceptable but no attempt was made to make this situation better for the customer. Have stayed here before and it has been ok. After this situation I would not recommend this hotel.

I'd stay there again!

Posted Apr 9, 2015
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel is older, but clean. The breakfast was also good, too. They had a nice selection available. I'd stay there again.

Great stay overall, mainly used for just sleeping. No pool
