The hotel was very clean, my room was great very comfortable bed. The morning breakfast was good and the gal running it I think her name was Patty she was so kind and did a great job.

The room was clean and nicely set up with a comfortable recliner. The staff were friendly and helpful. Nice hot breakfast. The TV programming was inscrutable. With no way to see what was actually on without just clicking away one channel at a time.

Comfortable stay for reasonable cost
The surrounding area is OK; it is near an industrial park, so not the nicest location. It was just off of the freeway, so that is convenient. The room was decent sized. No elevator to the 2nd floor. The free breakfast was a nice addition.

Their key system is out of whack. You have to insert and yank the key out before it blocks you…very quickly And while we were there two keys had to be re-programmed and they knew to tell us that we must not get the key close to the mobile phone or key fob (for our car). Also there is zero mention that there are no elevators. We are 75 yrs old and they put us on the 2nd floor at the very last room furthest from the lobby (breakfast). Other than that it was great.

At check in we were told there would be extra charges for the dog. Then we were told there were no available rooms for pets. While this was going on several guests came down to say their TVs were not working. The clerk said knew it was a problem and someone would fix it but they had to call them. I would not have been content with that either so we went to a other hotel in nearby Evansville. Which was nicer, less expensive and not run down and dingy.

It states in expedia and hotels.coms site in order to reserve a pet room please call the hotel directly. Thank you for the comment.

The room was spacious and clean. Not many places to eat dinner but found Rib Chophouse easily, only 5 min away from the hotel. The free breakfast was good, lots of options and well maintained.

Most of the staff was so friendly. The breakfast was always excellent. It was extremely loud outside all the time; there was road construction going on right next to the hotel. In the parking lot, there were many "shady" people hanging out in cars.

The great staff makes this hotel a good choice. Our room was very clean, and all employees were cheerful and helpful. The area is not beautiful, but very close to the National Historic Trails Interpretive Center.
