Good family hotel with very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms had all that was required and the breakfast buffet was excellent. Parking was no problem and it was only a 5 minute walk to the town centre.

Basic but clean, excellent, friendly staffPosted Oct 12, 2013
Pros: The front desk staff were incredible -
Cons: The rooms could be updated with a better quality of furniture and decor
Location: The area around the hotel appeared quite run down and aside from a little coffee bar about a block away there was nothing to see or do in the area.
The hotel was rather dated, and the room, although clean, and with a comfortable bed, was rather gloomy. The rooms could use some updating. The front desk clerks were very pleasant and incredibly helpful to us with any requests we had. One of them went out of his way to obtain information for us on the history of the area and provide directions for us to explore the area. We felt the hotel was not in a very good part of the city but otherwise we were quite comfortable there. Thank you

Great place.Posted Sep 27, 2013
My wife and I stayed there one night Sept 21, 2013. I would highly recommend this hotel. Everyone was very nice and the room was clean and spacious. We had a great view of Monte Cassino. We would definitely stay there again.

Visiting the seen of the Battle for Monte CassinoPosted Sep 14, 2013
Pros: The staff, the view of the Mountains, the restaurant.
Cons: The coffee.
The hotel staff were very helpful and spoke good English. The food was goof, but the coffee not so good. A very enjoyable stay.

Nice hotel, close to everything, great staff.Posted Aug 31, 2013
Cassino is a great place, the monastery was unbelievable. Driving around the countryside through all the suburbs and surrounding villages was a great experience. Plenty of choice for dinning and even if you wanted to go out dancing. Easy to get to rome and Naples as well.

Quiet, pleasant 3* Hotel,Posted Jul 12, 2013
Pros: The courtesy and consideration afforded us - both in our middle seventies
Cons: Work in progress, but remember to the guest's ultimate benefit
Location: Pleasant side street, noisy traffic but triple glazing 'kills' it. The room's is excellent, a clear view up to Monte Cassino, Good money
I have marked down the condition and upkeep section purely because it is a 'work in progress'. The Reception staff were more considerate and helpful than I have seen in a 4*, couldn't fault them, they readily arranged taxi journeys for us. The one major downside is that the restaurant does not open on a Monday evening, or at least it was closed when we were there which is unusual in a hotel whilst accommodating guests. We asked for a room with a view of Monte Cassino and it was just perfect. Overall a hotel that is good value for the money - will hopefully visit again.

A warm and friendly stayPosted Apr 7, 2013
Pros: home from home
Cons: This is a very difficult question - maybe there could have been some instructions for the TV operation!
Location: On a quiet street with excellent an view of Monte Cassino Abbey from our room
We enjoyed a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were really helpful and friendly throughout - nothing was ever too much trouble. We would definately return if ever in this area again.

Cassino WW2 history visitPosted Oct 13, 2011 on Hotels.com
Hotel staff very friendly & good at English. Delayed Rome train did not reach Cassino till 11pm, but we received tasty toasted sandwiches & coffee before going to our room. We also got free lift to UK Commonwealth Cemetery next morning & advice about bus to Monastery & local restaurants. Saw tank & gun near town centre! Excellent Hotel.
